Nah, those fights PBC offered weren’t tough enough, IMO, though not opposed to seeing them. Especially seeing Spence have a crack at greatness.

If you mean he should have taken it from his POV tho, and i’ve misread you, then yeah, probably a smarter career move. Or maybe not. He wanted a LHW belt.

Could be wrong, but I just don’t think those other potential opponents had enough of a skill set to challenge Canelo.

Next challenge: Bivol follows Canelo down to 168 and still whips his arse.

Now theres a nice reality check for Canelo fans. No matter how much you tried to talk sense to them they just couldnt accept that old washed up Kovalev was a cherry pick and that fighting a real light heavy was a loss waiting to happen. Bring on Beterbiev and Usyk vs Canelo.

Funny how none of the haters give Canelo credit for fighting an undefeated Champion much bigger than himself.
Meanwhile these same boys talk up guys like Andrade and Charlo when all they do is fight no names.
You just can't take any of these fanboys seriously.

Full respect to Canelo. It can never be said again he didnt take on the best. He did what Mayweather and most other fighters never did or do, take on a bigger, skilful, prime, elite level fighter. This loss enhances his legacy as a courageous loss. Real balls on this guy.

I'm getting the feeling some haters have come to appreciate the risks Nelo is willing to take and not wait until he's a geezer.
Definitely nothing against Canelo. He's taking big risks with these fights and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. He took his L like a champ
I always support the fighter that is underdog on most peoples eyes and i'm just happy that Bivol got the job done on biggest fight of his career and showed some of the fans that Canelo can be beaten. Maybe we can forget the Usyk fight now

Truth is the truth but some fan bases won't have any of it.

Undefeated Kamil was a good fight for GGG
Horn was a good win for Bud because he ''beat'' Pac.
Nelo is a lesser man because a naturally bigger man beat him.
A man who could never win a decision

Nelo was a favorite for a reason.
                Experts picked him to win.
                Odds were on his side.
There's one ''fight fan'' here claiming only casuals thought it was an upset.

                  Kamil, Rolls, Murata, Vanes, Shortychenko
                  Horn, Shot Porter, Broken Brook
                  Seferi, Wallin, Pianeta, Wach

Not one complaint about those opponents. In fact, beating those bums only made the winners move higher up on the ATG list

Canelo's mexican warrior style was nowhere to be seen tonight. All i saw is a puto getting toyed and destroyed.

Clenelo should get back to cherry picking at lower weights.

My prediction was correct! Congratulations to Bivol. Those scorecards very close, they almost robbed Bivol. I'm glad right man's hand is raised. And props to Canelo for taking this kind of challenges.
