Hes not wrong but the UFC has the opposite problem. A healthy middle ground between crazy Canelo money and paying champs like $300k is possible imo.

Yes, and these are two points that need reconciling. Really, the answer is that his fighters should earn more, and to facilitate it, he should take less.

Been saying this for a long time. It's one of the most significant factors as to why the best rarely fight the best anymore. These guys already make so much money facing overmatched opponents that there's really no worthwhile incentive for them to take riskier fights against guys who might actually beat them.

All those people calling for markedly higher pay in MMA will be sorry if it ever actually happens.

The vast majority don't earn the latter sum, but personally, I'd rather retain my faculties than take that cash. The only thing that would make me consider it is if I had few other options in life, which is the situation facing most ppl who get involved in boxing
They aren't overpaid because they generate enough money to pay them that amount.

          It's pretty simple.

The red faced coke head is just deflecting because he takes 80% of the revenue his fighters generate and shovels it up his hooter.

How can they be overpaid? Should they get paid a wage? That would be almost like slavery. The way it works is basically correct, everyone should get their share based on what they did, like a bank job.

That is true but how could it be resolved? It's just market forces...

I guess its because boxers have to count up twelve and in between rounds thers a 10 second count
