The only reason i tuned in for the Yafai fight was that a few friends told me that he was insanely talented, but i wasn't impressed, just your typical manlet.

I don't watch female and I thought Laila Ali was the best inboxing. But I have heard Katie is creme de la creme so I will try watch it. To be frank I only saw 5th round.

A post with substance, I have not read many comments which point-out to the various outcomes of scoring these rounds in Taylor-Serrano. Many fans have a hard-time scoring even rounds, and many more dont even know how to score a 10-8 without a knockdown.

The boxingscene are full of dumbasses.

Cheers for that, but really that criticism of boxing scene fans adequately describes me, too.

Obviously one can see when a round is hilariously one-sided, but just don't like the 10-8 no KDs.

Also, I'm not really as hardcore as yourself, (though one gotta aspire!) hence, find the scoring challenging when fights are quick, and obviously limited angles don't help.

Really suggest that when ppl rewatch this, they stick it on mute, with the playback speed at 0.75!

Hugh, since you are being honest, I got to admit. I doctored those clips to make Taylor look good ; Katie is much worse. I thought if I presented how awful she really is, no one would believe me.

It was literally like watching a proboxer (Amanda) and an amateur (Katie) go up against eachother. Katie punches literally had little to no effect, I don't understand how you could give her most of the rounds.

Unless she really outlanded Serrano by a good margin to make up for the difference in Damages/power but she didn't.

I have heard Katie was lucky, and after seeing 5th round I can kind of understand. But Serrano hasn't seemed to claim robbery? Maybe as she getting rematch? Who knows?

'The Bray Bomber' is Katie's moniker, what a joke. Who named her that?!

You brought up a important point, the punch-connect was close. However as stressed in this thread, many of the blows that Katie was credited for were : grazing, glancing, weak, and off the target area to count as clean-punches. Further, some of Taylors strikes were even with the wrist or slaps. Just awful.

I also noticed that not many fans are praising Katie's footwork, probably because literally throughout the fight Amanda was only separated by a split-second from Taylor ; that tells they were mostly fighting Amanda's fight, THE WHOLE FIGHT -- ring-generalship is the point I'm arguing, among other things.
