The fight will happen. Neither guy can move up without facing the other and neither will make as much money fighting anyone else.

My money will be on Bud by mid to late stoppage. Spence is rock solid at everything but he hasn’t got that much variety to his game and I think Bud will latch onto that, time him and systematically dismantle him as Spence will only be able to compete with Bud one way by going forward and looking for the body.

Crawford tunes into fighters quicker and better than Spence and outthinks them. Spence tends to beat most of his opponents by attrition and can’t see that working against someone as elusive as Crawford . Brook wobbled Spence a couple of times when they fought before his eye socket gave out. I think if that had been Bud it would’ve been game over as he’s the best finisher in the business bar none. Better footwork, better timing, reads the other fighter quicker and a better finisher. I don’t think Spence will be able to make his advantages in power and workmate count.

No question in my mind Crawford ends Spence inside the distance.

Any guess what split both sides would agree to?
        50/50, 60/40, 45/55, etc. I couldn't care less what it is,
but that's expected to be the stumbling block.
Frustrating for fans who just want to know the date of the fight.

This fight is already over cooked. No excuses what so ever from either of these if this fight doesn’t happen next. I suspect there will be many though, and as usual the fans will support the ducking and the boxing medi won’t hold them accountable. This is make or break for US boxing.

And here is the irony: Mad as it is, it was done twice! I mean showing up as Batman like Fury did is a heck of a lot easier. But the point remains that the absurdity is a good thing. John Keehan, who made a fortune selling a little booklet out of comic books detailing supposedly deadly martial arts techniques did this stunt to drum up interest. I believe Mas Oyama did the same thing... in neither case was the Bull actually harmed lol.

Im from the middle of New York City and saw my first Bull as an adult in Louisiana where my wife is from and let me tell you... Ill take 5 cops smacking me around and handcuffs to trying to touch any Bull! Those things are HUGE!!

There will be no big difference in split, it will probably be less than 55/45, could only be 5%.

When you have big fights like this it takes two to make it happen, the suits will look at all the numbers and then negotiate a deal, Errol will get more but I don't think it will be anywhere near 60/40, Floyd was a 70/30 guy and he excepted 50/50 with Manny I think this fight is similarly big enough as a duo that the purse split will be closer to 50/50 than it will be wide for one guy.

Or, one of the guys deciding to do their own rendition of Larry Holmes "Superman" versus Trevor Berbick.

Go to 1:43 for perfect marketing for the social media generation 101 lol. Can you imagine if Bud decided to mosh pit at Spence? how much attention it would bring? lol.

Splits, demands... the only split that matters here is one of these guys trying to split the other's lip and making it a personal vendetta.

I don't care about the split, I ain't getting any of it whatever it is!. I just have the opinion that the split negotiation will be a major factor in whether the fight actually happens.
