Hoping Crawford stays free agent, but thinking with Spence picking up 3 belts and having a better resume that the fight is going to be even harder to make now.

Crawford will find his split demands and his offers will perhaps be even further away than they were before.

I understand it's business and fighters feel they should get what they deserve. But if Crawford is smart, he'll take the short money. He feels like he's going to win, and to be honest, a fight of this magnitude, the "first" fight isn't even the most important as far as financials. They'll likely run it back.

So if Crawford believes in himself like he says, take that 40/60 split. Go win that fight. Take that 40% of the biggest pot you've ever fought for. And demand the 60% of the rematch pot that will be much larger. The end!

Bull****. This fight is one that people will surely be arguing about for years. Close rounds and close decision.

I suspect Spence will be given the advantage by judges and ref because he is younger and more money can be made out of him but this is close as it gets.

That's easy to say from the outside looking in.

I'm sure Ugas, Porter, Danny and Mikey all thought the same thing.

Who else is going to bankroll Crawford in a fight if it isn’t against Spence? Unless Crawford goes Mayweather and starts bankrolling his own fights I don’t see how he fights anyone else, unless he’s willing to take a massive pay cut.

This is the main problem with what I'm asking, and the fight getting made itself. A lot of casuals don't know who Spence is, but even fewer know Crawford.

And on that basis, there's not only never going to be enough cash for Crawford, marinating this **** for so long just looks even more ridiculous now.

This is the biggest barrier to the fight happening.

The fact that noone has rushed to sign Crawford speaks for itself.

Crawford obviously expects someone else to bankroll his fights but, as I said previously, he's in no position to make demands.

PBC have to have their own fighters best interests in mind so, if he wants the fight, No Pay Cut Crawford gonna have to take what's on offer or move on.

                    This is heating up.

I still don’t think it happens, but it sure would be nice.

So let Crawford and Spence, each man go to either Chicago or New York, get a bull and walk it down the main area where the futures exchange is (chicago) and where the stock exchange is (New York). Start telling people You will kill the bull barehanded, as you describe what you will do to your opponent... get arrested.

Thats how Oyama and Dante did it in the martial arts!!! Social media would be a buzz!!!! every casual would be talking about the fight
