Wow, are you following me around now? I knew you were sick, but now you're taking it to another level. By the way......who was training Wilt in 1965 to fight Ali? Been waiting for that answer all day.

Hopefully we’re forgetting him. Dreadful fighter. Not even top 50 all time hwt.

Terrible fighter, not terrible man. HUGE difference.

Valuev is one of the reasons people think Fury is some kind of freak athlete.

Forgetting Valuev isn't really a bad thing.

Well Fury is literally not the tallest champion in history.

Valuev was very large, tall, but very lethargic and not very athletic. The guy was thoroughly outboxed by a 46 year old Holyfield, but was gifted the decision. Haye outboxed Valuev even easier.

Tyson Fury shines because he is not some goofy 6’9” boxer who moves slow and can be easily outboxed. Fury is actually about as fast as a smaller weight boxer. He self proclaims himself as moving like a Middleweight and that is not much of an exaggeration.

Historically, gigantic boxers (closer to 7’ than 6’) have always been very slow and easy targets. And they just have not been good. But Fury broke that mold. Like Ali did in his era. When Ali was in his prime, he was taller than most HW’s, at 6’3” he was a “big man” similar to what Fury is today. Having 3-5 inches over his opponents, but moving fast and being very mobile for his size, and having faster handspeed than the other shorter fighters who should be more agile than him.

Like Ali, yes Fury can be beaten, but it’s a very difficult task. Fury already beat one of the other 2 big men in the division. He may not face the other one, AJ, because AJ might lose to Usyk again.
