That was a waste of $70 bucks. Frillian whyte looked like crap and had zero answers. Weak chin as a fighter. All three fights he's lost he was knocked out by the upper cut. Under cards ******. All of us lost who paid for this crap of a fight. Fury might as well retire as there's no other heavyweight fighter that's going to give him a challenge. AJ turned into a pu$$ie and is just a bodybuilder capitalizing on beating old and bum fighters. Usyk is too small and though probably the best skilled of them all, I can't see him beating fury. The heavyweight division is going to be dead again for years to come.Comment

Anyone else kinda feel bad whyte got his shot after he was a shot fighter. Considering he waited 5 years he may have a hard time gritting over the loss. He looked aged and sooooo slow even moving after the first round. It really was eye opening to see his hands telegraph punches that early into a fight. Fury did what he had to of course but damn, whyte has to hate Mauricio like nobody else.
The fact is he was never on Tyson Fury's level.

Wilder competed and was more competitive than Whyte was in the second Fury fight? Well, Whyte won the first round and made fury fight a cagey fight until the knockout. Fury was winning the rounds, but he wasn't allowed to just go hell for leather. Now, tell me which part of fight two did Wilder compete with Fury? I must have missed that. Thus, making your comment seriously ironic. But like the the dude i replied to in that comment, i won't bother wasting time in explaining it to you. I tried that once with you. Waste of time. I gave you a chance, but it wasn't to be. I'll just sit back and laugh because irony on this level is definitely my thing.Comment

I think it is both: Whyte was not at his best, he did look shopworn BUT... If you look at the skill levels? Whyte at his best WOULD not made a difference. Whyte never had the footwork, or power to defeat, or even annoy A light, in shape Fury. Never would have been different result. Wilder caught Fury flush and could not take him out... and Fury's body punching? there is a sequence where they both exchange hooks, the difference is telling: Whyte's kind of catches on the surface, Fury's is like a laser... right to the liver area.Comment

Dude Dillian whyte been shot. I have no horse in this race, no money on the line as both men have failed test. I’m a third party here, Dillian is slower than ever. He’s been shot, his style doesn’t age well. You are a long time maywearher fan know that better than anyone else. I’ve argued the result wouldn’t have been different but can you honestly say any fighter in Dillians is the same he was two years ago, four, five? No. Still doesn’t change the result, the man hung around long enough to get his title night, sadly lost a lot on the way there.Last edited by turnedup; 04-24-2022, 04:34 PM.Comment

This site has turned into tmz. Please up here talking about a warrior who literally hung on five years for his shot at a title. I have zero love for whyte but some of the ways y’all talk about fighters needs to be called out. It’s toxic and gets copied. I don’t like Tyson and I don’t like Dillian but I’m not gonna sit up here bashing either man who could kick my rear end from here to the moon while I talk rough behind key strokes. There are way to critique as a gentleman. Whyte looked bad, yes. People aren’t happy? Yes. Ok. Fights over. Him and fury are friends and once again respectful to each other. Is that hard for us to achieve? Many of fighters would’ve crumbled and faded out of the picture the last five years, he survived the politics and kept enough in the tank to make it to fight night. Considering he had to wait five years with a brawler style that aged horribly, five more years of wear and tear, and slower…yeah. A little compassion might be due. Not his fault mauricio is a puppet either.Last edited by turnedup; 04-24-2022, 04:42 PM.Comment

Tyson Fury is a pretty good fighter. But his belief that his size makes him near unbeatable is absurd. While his size is definitely a factor, Ali and Larry Holmes would handle him regardless. They, and a number of other heavyweight greats were better fighters.Comment

'I don’t like Tyson and I don’t like Dillian but I’m not gonna sit up here bashing either man who could kick my rear end from here to the moon while I talk rough behind key strokes'.
Fair point, turnedup, equally, a lot of people have paid serious money for tickets or for TV subscriptions & they are entitled to their opinion & saying 'you couldn't do it' isn't really the point is it? I know that, no matter how shabbily, squalidly, incorrigibly inadequate Danny Ings is, he is far fitter & a far better footballer than I'll ever be. I'm still entitled to post that he's a bum taking, like, £60k a week at Villa to impersonate a premiership footballer and, it isn't a good impersonation.
I'm disappointed with Whye's performance &, no, I'm not going to 'cut him slack' because he had to wait 5 years. He himself said he was in the best possible shape of his career. He could/should have come in lighter & he could/should have come in with a plan, beyond coming out southpaw in R1. Probably he would've lost anyway, a 6'9 HW who can move like a WW is a tough gig for anyone, but I don't really feel Dillian can sleep at night thinking 'I gave it my best shot'.Comment
