  • It wouldn’t have mattered in the end but Whyte cheated himself by not coming in at a much lighter weight. The biggest fight of his career and he had a whole year to prepare for it - and he turns up slightly heavier than his last fight. Not good.

    • Did that uppercut do some dental alterations on Whyte btw? Thought I saw a tooth/filling etc. go flying.

Yes! You make a very important distinction here and one that needs to be made.

You are joking right? Did you not watch the last round? Seems you already had the decision pre determined Wallin clearly hurt Fury with a left hand. And that was just the last round Wallin won at least 4 rounds in that fight maybe 5 the cut clearly was bothering Fury.

          • I'm ok with Tyson retiring and it's nice to see a fighter refuse to be ****ed around Hearn. Its obvious AJ never wanted to face a talent like Tyson even Wilder. He wasn't that good but that hype had a Lotta ppl thinking otherwise lol
as a fan it's satisfying to witness a hypejob be exposed

Obviously Usyk but he doesn't have the size or power. Could he give Fury problems? Absolutely but I see it looking like the Steven Cunningham fight Fury will come in heavy and use his body weight to drain Usyk and stop him late. Usyk is the best boxer at heavyweight but Fury is the best fighter as much as I don't like him as a person there's no doubt he is versatile in the ring and can adapt and fight pretty much any style and steer it in his favor.
Fury would be a fool to come in heavy for any fight. Usyk absolutely could beat Fury because he is a great fighter as well... Fury has all the power and heft he needs at this weight.

the cut was bothering Fury and Fury proceeded to aggressively win rounds after the cut. I did not see more than a few rounds for Wallin. I saw a lot of ineffective aggression.

                  • I had Fury shutting out Whyte thru 5… Whyte simple could not get close enough & Fury set him up for that uppercut. Hopefully he sticks around for Usyk/Joshua winner. Even if Usyk wins I would like to see him fight Joshua. Now I would be interested in Whyte/Wilder or Parker/Wilder…
