      you guys can say whatever you want,oscar was old when he faced manny,looked all weak,wasn't even a champ,nothing,where is the greatness in beating someone like that?

        After all he was Natural Junior Middleweight fighting a Lightweight...

        It's well within Physics!
        To give you a hypothesis...to deliver a punch with carefullness and with fear out of respect is not as hard as if you deliver a punch without fear and without respecting your opponent.

          I have very little problem with his statement.

          Truth is, Pac's punches weren't meant to knockout or even knockdown. They were meant to hit DLH flush then get out before the 45s arrive.

          The Hatton punch was a very calculated punch actually. It was almost like Pacquiao said: "Hey Ricky! Eat this!", then threw a fake right jab and followed it up with a ******* left to the head. It was MEANT to knock out Hatton and it did.

          The punches against DLH weren't meant to knock out or knock down DLH except perhaps some in the 7th. Ask any boxing writer (I did ask about three of them) and they would tell you that had Oscar come out in the 9th, he would've been knocked out.

          My only problem is that in another interview, DLH said that he felt that he hurt Pac in the 1st Round. To say that and then say that you didn't get hurt at all after getting beaten up for 8 rounds is just a lie.

            The fact that Pacquiao went from Super Featherweight to Welterweight in one year and destroyed Oscar and made him quit which no one has ever done before.

                save your time with that "OMGZZZ hATERZZZ" crap reply and learn to read properly before posting
                hey dumbass...i know what i'm reading, i'm just sick of tired of *******S like you using DEHYDRATED, past their prime, too old, any other lame ass excuses just to discredit PACQUIAO's accomplishments. Bottomline is that your pointing out the DEHYDRATED, as an excuse of why PACQUIAO beat DLH that night. It would have not matter that night even if DLH was hydrated, he just got beat by a fighter thats on top of his game. Your just another bitter latino or possibly a mexican who's boxers has gotten their ass kick by FILIPINO boxers.

He was starting to load up more in the final round before it was stopped, though, and had the fight gone on, he'd have knocked De La Hoya out within another round or two. De La Hoya knows that, deep down, but refuses to admit it, which makes him look bad.

                  The punch that knocked out Hatton would also have knocked out De La Hoya.
                  yeahhh,,, and it would certainly knock cotto out too.

                    DLH WAS NEVER HURT IN THIER FIGHT just severely embarrassed.

                    This is a message to samurai and mr pink
                    power = work / time
                    work = force * distance
                    force = mass * acceleration
                    acceleration = Change of speed with respect to time

                    This are physics laws. You can see that power is directly proportional to both speed and weight (in the formulas : proportional to mass). You cannot therefore say that having speed/acceleration but do not have the power. If Pac retained his speed and increased his mass, his power also increased. This is all theoretical but I hope you get the point.

                    Also, if you are never hurt just embarrassed, IMO, you don't quit. You've been embarrassed already. Might as well try to go through his punches and try to get the KO. IMO, he was embarrassed and hurt.
