You can literally ****ing swim from the UK to the no1 destination on your list, and also reach no2 and 5 quicker than most Americans can get someone in their own country that people care about.

Lol @ college sports too. The UK hosts multiple NFL games a year and Brits dont even care about it, also gets more UFC cards than almost everywhere in America outside of Vegas
Every state has something to offer a visitor.
OBVIOUSLY, the showy places will get the most visitors
That's the case in every country !

Canada has more square footage but 1/3 of the population.
We are filled to the brim for many reasons

The only reason people from that area visit other places in that area is because of it's proximity !
Most Americans don't find it necessary to visit other countries (unless visiting relatives). We have everything right here.

You will find great athletes in American colleges.
    They are HOF factories.
NFL games sell out in minutes over there.
It's far superior to that dull, monotonous run and kick a ball game.
True. The after game riots are hysterical.

As the ranks go, USA is 3rd worldwide
    UK 10th
    People visit everywhere but UK

    Fury and Whyte are shlt

America is not full to the brim, its actually pretty sparsely populated. Most states in America have very little to offer p4p. They have land masses comparable to a small country but with small populations and the infrastructure and amenities of a state. Wisconsin, Nebraska, Idaho, Kentucky etc might have their charms if you look hard enough but its a hard sell to someone who could just as easily and quickly travel around actual countries in Europe.

The NFL vs football/soccer thing is a moot point, the UK gets more NFL games than most American states do

I think Fury is overrated at this point and ive never rated Whyte very highly but who gives a ****. Its two current active top 5 ranked HW boxers in a world title fight, and its going to take place in a huge stadium full of people going crazy. Isnt that a good thing for boxing?

It hard to live on a desert -
What percent of the US is desert?
More than 30 percent of North America is comprised of arid or semi-arid lands

          LV is the exception

          Even still, we rank 3rd.

          Who GAF ???
Hey, I'm not telling someone what a good time is but cmon
If a person had to watch them fight sober, that would not be a good time out.

NFL is crazy popular. Most cable providers cater to us NFL fans. Free TV as well.
Not sure how many games a fan can watch at the same time, though.

Soccer is popular mostly because anyone can literally play it (if you have 2 legs)
You don't need anything but a ball and some sneakers.
I don't know how a person can watch it
Playing it I guess is fun ?

Yes. Fight fans flocking to see a fight is always a good thing for the sport....shame how the fighters are shlt.
I'd say that even if they were American. Shlt is shlt.

          Fury's career can survive a loss, I'm hoping Whyte's can't.

You can watch the NFL on tv anywhere, you dont need to be in America. Ah the magic of TV.

I dont even watch soccer these days so whatever. American football ive tried to get into numerous times but i'll liken it to the rolling around on the floor **** in MMA since we talk about it so much - its very complex and interesting on a technical and strategic level, probably fun to play but boring to watch. And you realise rugby exists in the UK right? two different types in fact. There isnt just soccer and boxing, its a very crowded sports market.

Fury and Whyte may be **** and this may be a ****ty era but I cant see a scenario where a world title fight taking place in front of 94k people is anything to be mad about. Its certainly preferable to the circus sideshows of recent years or just total obscurity.

              Just saying
If you Brits get it, we sure as hell get it and then some.

              NFL is a skill sport.
The typical playbook is like a NASA project compared to a soccer ''playbook''.
In all fairness, most sports are more fun to play than to watch.
Some sports you need a lot of people and or equipment.

              To each their own -

              Rugby ?
              Cricket ?
              Golf ?
              Bowling ?
              NASCAR ?

              Meh

I'm not mad at the amount of people going to see a couple of shltty guys fighting.
              I merely pointed it out.

Sure it is, but then the exact same thing applies with grappling or general MMA vs boxing and you dont have such a favourable view there

I dont think complexity in itself is automatically a good thing anyway, especially from a spectator perspective. Sometimes simplicity and accessibility is better.

                  Ok

Fury fans want to wait until after the fight to rate it's worthiness

                  How about this -
How many rds before it goes off the rails

                    MMA stuff is usually reactionary.
                    Some soft kicks (AKA jabs).
Once a guy has the upper hand (usually via some telegraphed arm punch). the slop is on.

All of the ''mastery'' takes place in the gym, hardly ever in the fight.
Yes. Sometimes there will be a fight where a crazy move is successful.
                    For the most part -
                    Punch, kick, roll around.

Training the mind is just as important as training the body.
''Run far and I will throw you the ball'' is not very effective play after play.
