Two very good underrated welterweight fights next weekend

Butaev -Stanionis...we have two undefeated top 10 guys ( by The Ring)

The winner will be a regular WBA champ and a legit contender for Spence - Ugas winner

    Crowley - Josesito Lopez

Crowley is the new name, he is coming from the dominant win against Abdukakhorov, if he beats a tough gatekeeper Josesito Lopez, he is very close to get some big fight.

Awesome thanks for the heads up

Who you got in the Butaev-Stanionis fight? The winner of that one is a top dog in the division imo.

I don't think Butaev or Stanionis are close to ready for the winner of Ugas vs Spence. Dulorme, old man Collazo, and Jamal James are many, many levels below Spence, Crawford, or Ugas.

Yup, those are solid fights. The more contenders the better especially if they fight solid opposition.

Two Top 10 guys facing each other. Who'd have thought?

          Conor Benn should take notes.

Instead he's fighting unranked Chris Van Heerden which one on is interested in at all.

I'd like to see the winner fight Boots. He is the future king at welterweight IMO

Bolded is the only one that matters. Lopez is way past it and long in the tooth.

Ennis also fought Van Heerdan, where is his heat for that fight?

Two good match ups indeed. Butaev vs Stanionis is going to be an absolute war. Crowley vs Lopez is a competitive fight but I'm unclear how it will play out.

Ennis is no different. Who's Ennis fought in the Top 10?

Is other ranked fighters fighting unranked fighters a justification for the likes of Conor Benn to fight the same weak fighters?

Conor Benn is a ranked fighter, the bare minimum for him to be doing is fighting other Top 10 ranked guys. End of story.

Using Ennis' equally weak opposition to justify it doesn't work.
