Impressive performance by Golovkin! Not saying Murata is some great fighter or anything, but he still gave Golovkin a lot of issues in the early going and Golovkin was able to turn the fight in the 6th round. It went from a competitive back and forth fight to a one way beatdown.

    On to the trilogy.......

Smh if Murata hadn't got carried away he would of lasted the round. He was hurting and backing up golovkin til the right hook landed. Carnelo takes out golovkin and his fangirls will celebrate him beating a 40 year old.

I hope it doesn't happen because I dont want to see GGG get battered into retirement.
My man, you understand that fight is a 40 million plus fight for GGG. He knows he is gonna take a beating, GGG wins because he wins 40 Million plus! Ill fight canelo right now for that money. All this is is just taking lil guppies like us and taking out money and attention on a forgone conclusion.

Just because Alvared is cowardly smart enough to continue to duck Charlo, Andrade and Benavidez doesn't mean that they have to fight each other. What a ****** ass post. You scared dummy

What a fraud fight, right up there with Wilder Scott! DAZN has 4.2 of debt capitalization on the line, a lot of the debt from NA came from building the NA platform and overpaying. Now, they need returns and positive cash flow. Watch Bivol lay golden egg too. This is a complete joke!

Murata and Golovkin both looked extremely past it, which made for a fun fight.

People crying about GGG not fighting whatever obscure boxer they fangirl over: GGG is way past it and only taking tuneups and money fights. Sorry your guy isn’t a draw and no one wants to see it.

GGG bout to cash out and retire.

Part of it is probably ring rust rather than just straight up decline but overall it wasnt a great performance tbh. I already thought it before this but this just solidified for me that Canelo would very likely stop him in a third fight. You cant beat father time, and GGG was already getting old at the time of the first fight.

This is probably the most reasonable comment on here today. Even at 40 with a mild case of ring rust (and, in my opinion, not the best trainer), GGG still pounded a younger (and very tough) man down to the canvas. If the fight with Alvarez happens, you can bet Canelo won’t be looking at it as an easy paycheck, never mind what his fanboys are saying here. Age is definitely on Canelo’s side, and Canelo is a strong, fast, tough, and superbly skilled boxer. How much of that is clenbuterol, God alone knows. Although GGG is awesome for a guy of age 40, the elite quickness is now getting a nanosecond slower, which is the difference between a punch landing clean versus skidding past the head harmlessly.

In GGG’s column, one of the best jabs in boxing history, a chin like an anvil, and a motive of trying to recover what was stolen by a corrupt judge who helped the drug cheat.

In Canelo’s column, skill, quickness, youth, also a chin like an anvil, a bit tougher in the midsection, and of course, he owns the judges outright.

My tentative forecast: Canelo by UD again.

Lil G is still great to beat unskilled robots. Murata was shıt without head movement and terrible punches. Canelo payday will make him happy after his a$$ whooping loss.
