Don't disrespect a man and then expect them to play ball.

Warren and the WBC wanted to disrespect Dillian and only offer 20%, for a fight that is clearly huge because of both of them. Certainly the second biggest fight in British boxing.

They are both being silly now, but this all started and escalated from that moment. Gotta deal with the repurcussions of your games.

Anyway, fingers crossed the fight goes ahead. It's a bit of a mess.

Lol Warren's salty that Whyte isn't bending over for him

Warren and Arum pulled one with the WBC. Whyte is showing them the middle finger back. It is what it is.

Warren's keen to tell everybody who'll listen about how little Whyte's worth and then cry about him not promoting the fight moments later. Ridiculous

Exactly, this whole mess can be traced back to its very 1st step and that step was taken by Frank 5hit show Warren. If he hadn't done what he did then Whyte wouldn't be acting how he is now.

Frank's son (admitted) makes a load of promises to get Whyte to sign a non standard (still can't work out how Frank got away with this) contract, Frank starts "penny pinching" everywhere and ****s Whyte off more saying promises aren't legally binding (true). The nonstandard purse contract went to WBC arbitration (as it appears to be against WBC rules(sic)) who probably laughed in Whytes face p*ssing him off further, as basically they hate him.

Frank starts using the phrase "well it's not illegal" a lot.

Whyte "spits his dummy out" and does the same thing back pointing out legal holes in the wording around promotion.

          Opinion:

The promoter is supposed to be the "adult in the room" and take the flack from the fighters, so if Whyte is a Diva sort it out don't pour petrol on a bonfire, instead of offering 6 tickets and Furry 1000's why not make a gesture given all the other ill will, that's not normal for a fight. Yes you can **** him over legally but was that really good business?

Direct quote from Frank "he won't do promotion what do I pay boxers for" ... ok Frank .. you pay them to get punched in the face in front of 94K people .. its actually you that is paid to promote ... anything else you want to know about promoting Frank .. just ask.

Shyte would have been paid less if Warren did not "overbid".

Also, if he was promoting like any other fighter in a big domestic fight, maybe Warren would have been confident in paying more for a better undercard.

Shyte's team refused to sign the contract and demanded the barebones WBC bout agreement. This could have been avoided if they came to the negotiation table either before or after the purse bid. Shyte is a stubborn, low IQ meathead who has received terrible advice.

But according to Hearn and his shills, Shyte was "playing a blinder" and lul memez ol' fish eyes maaad.

It is also unprofessional to run to a sanctioning body and beg to lower a fighters split for no real reason. It is also unprofessional to blatantly lie about the worth of that fighter, lie in the form of fake promises and purposely try to make life a little bit harder for a Boxer trying to train and prepare for a fight.

Quite simply if Frank 5hit show Warren had been fair, not devious and had not run to the WBC to try screw a bit less money out of Dillian Whyte I think there is a very strong chance that Dillian would be playing his part no problem at all.

When 5hit show Warren is a cvnt then Whyte will be a cvnt. Frank is to blame for all this.
Fury has far more drawing power and marketability than Shyte after conquering America. Also, he has the belts and undefeated record.

Shyte is nothing more than a standard mandatory challenger. 20% is fair. Next time, do not lodge 300k to dodge tax and expect the WBC to side with you.

This could have all been avoided if he negotiated for 25-30% with Arum/Warren before the purse bid. Did he expect Hearn to win it? Lmao.

Oh well, I guess he got a moral victory making mr. shoulder roll upset. Genius mind games being played here! Fury is a mess and will not know what to do come fight night!

I don’t like Whyte but I’m on his side in this case. I’d be doing the same thing. If I got nothing to gain promoting the fight im putting all effort into training.

Warren is the one screwing the pooch here. No incentive to Whyte and an epically shytty undercard

Its the promoters job to promote and match make nicely. any fighter that promotes is a perk. If a promoter aint doing there basic job of promoting then let them create a new league/promotion similar to ufc where we will finally see fights we want to see be made more often

This just isn't true. I can see why people outside the UK might believe it, particularly Americans who will have been impressed with Fury's rivalry with Wilder and who have seen very little of Whyte. But most of the money is coming from the UK, not America.

This fight is a Wembley Stadium fight because of the popularity of both men in the UK. Put it another way, if it was as you say a routine defence, say Ortiz, would the attendance or TV money be nearly as big?

                  No, definitely not.

Brits turn out in big numbers for domestic rivalries, particularly at the highest level
A "standard mandatory challenger" as you put it would have received 30% anyway
Fury is obviously the A side. But Warren knows, like anybody impartial in the UK knows, Warren has low balled Whyte at 20%. If you disrespect somebody like that don't expect to have a good working relationship with them.

God knows what relevance tax has to the WBC and their ruling.

Fisheyes and Queensbury on life support after this PPV flop.

The ticket sales won't cover the purse bid as he said yesterday, he's bet the house on a box office success and he's crying about Whyte not promoting after seeing the lack of interest with the early sales.

Even BT Sport have knocked off 15% to try an entice businesses to carry the fight.

                    Fisheyes is done

Warren has screwed whyte out of every last single pound he could and kept it for himself and fury. Its great to see him crying, when all he had to do was pay whyte a decent percentage. Hearn is a tosser yes but he not as bad as that pos warren. Not even close.
