Comments Thread For: DiBella, DAZN Talks Cease For Kambosos-Haney; Haney Almost Out Of Time To Accept ESPN Deal

Devin Haney is running out of time. BoxingScene.com has learned that if the unbeaten WBC world lightweight champion wants an opportunity to become boxing's fully unified lightweight champion June 5, he'll have to accept a deal as soon as possible from George Kambosos Jr.'s promoter, Lou DiBella.

Boss move by ESPN and their Top Rank “viziers” lol. Wow, ESPN just SON’d dayzin and young Edward. If ever there was a “how ya like them apples” move that was it. Or as we say back in the land of Coronation Street, “put that is your pipe and smoke it!”

Is Kambozo now an ESPN fighter?
Though I heard they're offering Haney 3 fight ESPN deal - 2 Kambozo fights + Loma fight, assuming he wins 2 Kambozo fights?
        Any truth to that?
btw, don't believe Lou had any intentions of having this fight on DAZN in USA, just like Kambozo had no intentions of fighting Haney.

Hopefully Hearn does not do what Oscar did to Charlo vs. Munguia! Fight on ESPN, and win!

I cant understand the fascination with boxing gossip, politics on this boxing site. People actuality enjoy commenting on this stuff. Make the fight or don’t. Don’t care about the why’s? Or why nots, just tell me the outcome and save all your gossip for the women on here on a gossip board.

Haney has no contract with slaveroom. If he lets Hearn bully him into not taking this fight just because it’s not on some silly obscure app then he deserves the obscurity his career will be defined by

Hearn didn't kill Fury-Whyte over DAZN partnership, and Haney isn't exclusive to DAZN. If he doesn't take the fight it's just because he's ducking and running. He and his dad have done nothing but make excuses.

I prefer the DAZN controls personally. It's nice to be able to pause and go back, which you can do with ESPN also, but ESPN hasn't figured out how to stream things without buffering issues. And Showtime doesn't even let you pause or rewind, let alone watch a replay the next day, even if you shelled out for the event. And they make you pay for everything, even if it's just fringe contenders. ESPN is better if you follow a lot of sports, but that has nothing to do with boxing.

Haney is intentionally pricing himself out if he thinks he is worth the same as Loma. He has a shot at being undisputed and holding all the cards if he beats Kambosos, but he would rather price himself out. I’m sure he’s probably pushing back on the fight being in Australia too. He needs to know his worth, which is very little at the moment.

GGG not getting paid, Munguia turning down title shots and accepting fights with lesser opponents,
Ortiz mysteriously pulling out of fights, Andrade leaving, now this????? Yeah DAZN is going broke. They’re going to be really hurt after they see the live gate for Bivol-Canelo. If Canelo would have accepted PBC offer it probably would of been the nail in the coffin for DAZN.
