So is Wilder gone for good now?

So it's been 7 months since he got starched and to be honest he got rather humiliated. Does anybody think he'll ever be back?

I think he'll have a few more fights but probably not big ones.

He went back to play basketball and fight in streets. Fury ended his Mickey Mouse career.

I knew from VERY early on that he was a totally manufactured product. His power was real but nothing else was.

Never faced a single competitive opponent on his way to winning the WBC off an incredibly weak champion and his only defence of any note was a 40 year old Cuban who we "thought might be good".

Wilder served his purpose, he made a load of money for PBC and was in some big events. He's 37 years old now and taking absoloute shellackings in his two fights, what is left for him, he's far too old to rebuild.

He knows he can't beat josh, usyk, joyce, dubois, ruiz types so will stay in his lane. So we might not get fights we want

Fighters are born and not made. Wilder success came about largely due to his physical ability. However, if he does decide to come back I hope it is for the right reasons and not just for the money but for the love of the sport. He has earned enough money in the sport.

I think since he is no longer a champion I don't believe that he has fighting in him anymore. He never developed into a complete fighter, became a boxer to become a Hall of Famer or an ATG and yet he has still achieved a great amount of success in his career; In despite of his limited skill set..

In any case, I wish him well and nothing but the best in what ever decides to do with his future.

Correction: It's been only five months. He last fought back in October of 2021; The same as Tyson Fury

He can beat AJ for sure. AJ is a big timid static target, tailor made for Wilder, AJ wouldn’t have the bravery needed and would be a sitting duck.

Joyce is too easy to hit, he might have a solid chin but he has been knocked out in the amateurs, so Wilder would crack the chin. But barring Usyk, Joyce is the only one I’d give a chance to on that list because he would have the balls to try to put Wilder on the back foot.

Ruiz is a B or C level fighter, one good night v AJ, but his true level is close fights with Parker or getting dropped in a tough fight with a shot Arreola. He’s really not a top fighter, never was, living off one night v a chinny AJ. Wilder would starch Ruiz.

Well, the Wilder in the past would have beaten everyone in your list barring Usyk but not sure what he has left, Fury has ruined him in those fights. Usyk would beat him but even he’s hittable, and I doubt he takes the power.

Wilder will be back. He's just waiting for the rest of the spiked water to clear through his system and for the full effects of Tyson Fury's voodoo spell to wear off. Nash out.
