Will Usyk be criticized for returning to fight Joshua?

Rumor is he'll leave Ukraine for the Joshua rematch. I personally don't want to see people acting like Usyk is some type of deserter or anything ******.

not by me anyway, i think both he and loma should take their fights & pledge a nice % to war victims but i understand both staying and sticking it out till the end, imagine if america was being invaded and le bron was offered an exhibition somewhere and took off

its terrible stuff, i saw a report of a 15 yr old girl legs blown off by a russian shell & a 5 yr boy who watched his mom burn to death in a car as they tried to leave a city, he wants his dad to buy him a new mum to walk him to school, ***** has to pay for this one way or another, loma and usky want to do their bit

Usyk will be criticized for returning to fight a low skilled, fraud bodybuilder. Not for leaving Ukraine.

He shouldn’t be. He would obviously be commended for staying too.

Usyk & Loma both should leave now, they stayed for the worst & inspired many to return. So of course he shouldn't be shamed, although I don't think any men are allowed to leave right now?
          (esp. not reservist)

It costs money to fight a war. Would the money they could earn (assuming they would share it with the cause) not be more valuable than their mere presence?

No, Usyk will be a hero and even brits might want him to beat joshua. Soldiers campaign in wars. THey go out for a month take a break and then go back for 2nd and 3rd campaign in long wars. You need breaks.
Usyk could take a fight with josh, and hopefully the war will be over by then. But if not, then Usyk can continue to defend ukraine if he so wishes.
Oh God no, Usyk is no deserter, he is a hero.

Neither here nor there. If he stays, take the belts and give him emeritus status.

                Let boxing roll on.

He shouldn't be criticised. I understand why Ukrainian men want to stay and fight, and sometimes one extra person helping can make a difference. But there's a genuine risk that if you have no military experience, you're just cannon fodder for enemy soldiers. Or you're unlucky and get a bomb dropped on you from the air. Boxing and then using the money to help the cause is a better use of his time.

He's representing Ukraine. At the moment he's representing them by inspiring others to serve. If he leaves to fight he's inspiring them by showing himself on the world stage and I'm sure he'll have some messages to give.

The guy is just doing what he and his government think is right.

The question for me is that if Joshua were to win whether would get any credit for beating a guy who has been at war in the build up.
