I mean I get the symbolism and all but are you seriously telling me they're going to put these guys on the front lines? I've heard people making cracks about wearing stuff from our new spring collection regarding the fresh fatigues and photo ops and all but I'm not trying to be disrespectful when I ask. What are they actually doing? Wondering if it's a bigger morale boost for his people if Usyk takes more pictures in uniform with a rifle vs beating up Joshua again. Like you said I don't think anyone can fault them either way.

He wouldn’t be unified champ vs kambosos anyway because like it or not, Haney has a legit world title. The only reason it was emailed to him was because Loma asked the wbc for their franchise title instead of facing his mandatory who was…..Haney.

I am not going to give kambosos and his team any credit. He lied that he wanted haney, and he even mentioned before that it doesn't make sense to fight loma who lost to the guy he beat (teofimo). Now we have learned that his team wanted the loma fight all along and even tried to get convince loma's team to get him out of the conflict in ukraine, which was quite low of them as you can't just leave a defence battalion that you just signed up for as an able-bodied man. It sounds weird and wrong to do that. He also lied that haney was jerking him around when the offer was made, which was not true. Haney always wanted it.

So George ducked Haney to fight Loma? Do you have any clue how ridiculous that sounds?

Whatever you think about the war — and a lot of what I read sounds dishonest — good luck to Lomachenko and Usyk. Boxing would not be the same without them.

I wonder what led Kambo to want Loma over Haney. Money? Name recognition? Or did he think Loma was an easier night’s work? I see that as a 60-40 matchup in the Ukrainian master’s favor.

Thing is both Loma and Usyk are huge in Ukraine. They inspire people. All of the national influencers stay in the country and face the war together with their people. This means a lot for all of us here. They do the right thing.
