Canelo is as elusive as Whitaker is still the single dumbest ******** thing I’ve ever read. I realize Canelo is the center of your universe but that’s plain ******.
Whitaker's defense was based on two things. Slipping punches at his back foot and ducking punches below waistline level which is actually illegal. Referees don't give a f**k about that illegal movement but Whitaker did it in every fight. He had ATG defensive skills though. At least, he exposed cab driver killer Chavez.

IMHO, Sr would not fair well if he fought this level of opponents.
Nelo would bully guys like Camacho (Cotto), Haugen (Kirkland), Rosario (Trout), etc
Did you watch any of Chavez's fights in real time? Almost no one, was going to beat Camacho, Taylor or Rosario when Chavez beat them, Canelo included.

Since Alvarez left the Welterweight division, in my opinion he only has 1 top elite level win 'The Golovkin win'.

Julio Cesar Chavez most likely has better overall wins.

I have not made a vote.

Ha you can't disagree with any of it.

He would have ducked a prime Chavez the same way he ducked a prime welterweight division.

Only Roger (rip) fought guys in their prime. Including. You guessed it. Julio Cesar Chavez.

            Whitaker

            IIRC Lockridge

Imagine some other fighter who feasted on such opponents for so long and being loved

Did you not read my post ?!?!?!?

Sr needed a Hail Mary to beat Taylor.

PBF/May fought better opponents than Sr and your God combined.

Trout BS open the scoring while getting outboxed

This dude has legit 3 losses minimum on his record.

I'm not going to get into the power pellets which allow how to jump from 154-175 and find new power levels. So I'm supposed to believe this dude is so gifted with a knee brace and flat-feet that he can break all the physics behind "weight classes and size matters in boxing"?

Judging by your wide takes on those fights, you have an agenda.

                      Have fun with that.
