I don't think this will go well for Canelo

Canelo choose him for a reason so his team might be banking on Bivol's inexperience perhaps?
Over 300 amateur fights...been boxing since he was 6 years old...how green could he be?

I just think he needs a few more fights at the pro level but that's just me.

I like Canelo but the guy just keeps proving me wrong to the point I almost feel like a damn hater.
I just don't see how he beats Bivol outside of some bs but then again I never expected him to do that to Smith and thought Plant would decision him so WTF do I know. Credit to Canelo, crazy fight too take imo

Bivol is dangerous and will have the size advantage on top of that.

This is a risky fight that Canelo can very well lose...but him being the fighter he is I would expect him to pick himself up, learn from the defeat, and come back sttonger as an even better version of himself.

Meanwhile Charlo and Andrade and company would still be taking the path of least resistance and stagnating their development.

            We'll see what happens.

The best way to beat any fighter is to NOT give him what he wants. U have to make him uncomfortable in there. The fighters early in Canelo’s career who gave him a hard time weren’t just boxers. They were ELITE, DEFENSIVE minded BOXERS. He KNOWS how to whip men like this now. So WHAT can beat him now? One word, MAYWEATHER. He’s as elusive as the boxing style mentioned above but what sets him miles apart is his ELUSIVE game on the INSIDE. NOBODY TODAY CAN DUPLICATE THAT. Not Beterbiev, Charlo’s, Benavides, Munguia……..NO ONE.
The only way Canelo looses in the future is by staying in the game too long. Father Time whips everyone.
I think a prime Andre Ward could of beaten Canelo too. A master inside fighter but he didn’t use elusivess. He mugged U. He’d of kept Canelo on his heals. Not sure Canelo could deal with that pressure from a bigger, stronger man.

Heard of GGG? He clearly beat him. Benavidez is much younger, bigger and faster than old GGG, and just as powerful, so put it all together and its clear why he is ducking him. Canelo has not fought an aggressive puncher since GGG, and for good reason. He only fights passive fighters who stand there infront him with no power.. He is scared to go to war.

I'm on the record as saying Canelo has about 0 chance to legitimately beat Bivol, if the fight has no weight shenanigans. Bivol will win most of the rounds with his activity and I don't think Canelo is going to be able to KO the guy. He has hardly even been hurt before.

If Canelo is even competitive on my card in this fight I will give him massive props.

We have to consider the roads both men have traveled.

If one guy faces a bunch of stiffs, he will be able to defeat that level of opponent easily.
If you examine the careers of every boogeyman, they will have a rep built on beating such opponents in extraordinary fashion.
When they FINALLY face a competent foe, they get thoroughly exposed and disappear. The only remnants that remain are the excuses as to why that boogeyman had no business in the ring with that legit opponent.

To say Nelo will be just another opponent will be silly.
If Bivol wins, he graduates from being a boogeyman to legit boxing threat.
Nelo doesn't have anything to prove.

Bivol's size is comparable to the guys Nelo has already beaten so far.
