This is a handpicked easy opponent for Canelo. I was fine with Canelo picking the lesser opponents that he did in Saunders and Plant because he was trying to unify the titles. But enough is enough. He should have picked someone who's name has been linked to his for a minute - like a Charlo, a Munguia, a GGG, or a Benavidez.

While I agree he's P4P #1, that's going to change imho if he keeps on picking opponents that he can walk through. I don't wanna see this fight next!

Bivol is a difficult opponent. Give Canelo some credit.

Bivol might be the best champion, comfortably beat Joe Smith and Pascal. He's slicker than Beterbiev, although not as big a puncher of course.

So it's a tough fight stylistically. We may have preferred to see Canelo and Charlo next, but Bivol is better than Charlo.

I favour Canelo, but it's a good fight. It won't be like an all action fight that a Benavidez bout would be, but it's cool.

Actually of the belief that the best 175 pounder is Canelo. Obviously he’s only fought there once and he has to prove it in the ring, but it’s an easy weight to make and he beats them all IMO
