I want to be disappointed because Eddie seems like a chill dude, but then again he is doing his promoter gig. We all know this is a straight up lie though. Beterbiev is number one. Bivol lost steam because of his lackluster run as of late. Clearly, he's one of the best but not THE best. It's still a great challenge for Canelo regardless.Comment

You gotta stop looking at boxing in a way where a fighter is supposed to not only fight more champions back to back than all his contemporaries combined,hes also supposed to go after specific fighters who are champs over others based on just:"thats who his biggest detractors say has the best chance of beating him"
And hes supposed to do it back to back to back, disregard Dangerous prime,more skillful champs who are on same promoter as Canelo & are who everyone was calling for him to fight as the most difficult kryptonite to Canelo(a big pure boxer with above average power)Comment

I don’t take anything away from Canelo
I think he’s a great fighter and has done quite a bit for the sport
But not hard to see that he took a page from Floyd and it’s quite obvious he avoids fighters

Theres nothing nuthugger about saying that most were calling for Bivol his last few fights as supposedly who he was ducking.(most on this site said he was most dangerous because of style)
He can only fight 1 champ at a time,he cleaned out smw in 1 yr,he might just do same at lhw, remember Beterbiev v Smith was already done,& Beterbiev is with Top Rank & likely wouldn't have been a 40 mil fight nor a 2 fight deal for 80 mil or some sh.
Even if Beterbiev is tougher,you can't expect him to go straight for a big Puncher after getting burnt out on 4 fights in a yr?(not saying Beterbiev is more difficult, I'm saying its smart to fight in house business 1st,let Beterbiev get 3 belts,then maybe go for undisputed v Beterbiev (wouldn't you do the same? instead of going for Beterbiev & then still having to beat 2 for undisputed)Comment

Why was Kovalev +500? Easy... he had a short camp and did whatever it was necessary to get the Canelo payday. He did what he had to to provide for his family. And of course, there is no way anyone wins a fair fight on the score cards against Canelo.
And well... Canelo is Canelo... its not so bad losing to Canelo. lol.Comment
