Just about everything you’ve said is correct. Ortiz, Klitschko and Wallin aren’t mugs. Both Wilder and Fury can boast them wins at least.

With AJ, his resume is what happens when you decide to keep defending your belts against mandatories. Occasionally, you’ll meet someone half decent, and it just so happens that there were a handful around that posed some challenge.

Albeit, by the standards of HW boxing today, which is far from excellent. Really, I’m of the opinion that even AJ’s opponents aren’t worthy of being ranked as highly as they are, and I’m not sure he would have been so successful in the 80s, 90s or early 2000s.

And what did wallin look like in his last fight? He looked worse than ortiz against an absolute can

If Joshua fights Joyce, this is a bigger challenge and will be a better win than Fury's next fight.

Ether which way Joshua goes, his resume is building up more than Tyson Fury's. People seem to not want to accept this.

Anthony Joshua has a higher number of world class wins, compared to Fury. Tyson Fury has two super elite level wins, where as Joshua has 1.

Joshua can go level with Fury in super elite level wins, if he beats Usyk in the rematch. So overall his resume on all levels, will have more depth than Fury's.

But I would still rate Tyson Fury currently right now, as the better fighter 'On current form' etc.

I am not sure how people can rationalize discrediting Anthony Joshua's resume, and attitude towards fighting all comers.

Ortiz is dangerous but a bit too old. But Wallin and Joyce are great options.

Why specifically is Usyk not available? Is he going to play the role of Rambo?

AJ knows he's not the best boxer in the division. Or at least I hope he's smart and humble enough to know that.

Box a brawler and brawl a boxer is the motif he ought to be living by.

A fight against Wilder would be the most exciting stylistically, with A.J having the option to box or brawl in a mega-fight either in the states or U.K.

Wallin is selling himself well, but if A.J really wants a southpaw to attune himself for Usyk, then the most marketable and beatable is Ortiz. Never mind he's forty or so.

Joyce is a boring but dangerous opponent as he does the fundamentals well, and any opponent needs good upper body and head movement to beat him. We saw against the stiff rigidity of Dubois that his stick and move style can be difficult to overcome.

If I was A.J's manager I'd be looking at the lowest risk highest reward.

Finally, A.J needs to remember he's best when he's a search and destroy fighter who only need box in emergencies.

Ortiz looked vulnerable. Wallin just looked flat.

Oritz beat a guy who has fought at top level numerous times ..Martins not the best but that guy wallin fought??

Wallin is only a name due to giving fury trouble in a cherry pick gone wrong

Put wallin in with ortiz and he gets polaxed in two rounds he's a tomato can

Joyce>Ortiz>Wallin is the order of preference for me.

Joyce is the only one I wouldnt strongly favour Joshua over.
