      Strongest resume?
He's still never boxed a top 2 heavyweight (Klitschko was unranked in tbrb). Take away all the shot past it 38-41 year olds with only 4 or 5 good rounds in them & who's left? Parker Ruiz & Usyk & 2 of those beat him.

They're all as bad as each other.

I saw what AJ said about this : "I boxed Otto Wallin twice as youngsters & I boxed Joe and stopped him in 1 round. I’d do the same thing today! Ain’t nothing changed."

If I was AJ I'd go for Ortiz or Joyce. Then assuming he wins go for Wilder or Fury after. If Fury hasn't run away again that is. We want to see everyone fight each other - no excuses!

BTW Does anyone know why Usyk hasn't called off the fight yet? If he is fighting for Ukraine - then he isn't going to be back anytime soon. Seems odd.

I think sometimes people get too worked up when Joshua's resume is defended. No one in this HW era has a great resume. No one. Wilder has Ortiz and Fury and "c" listers at best from there. Fury has Wilder and Klitschko and "C" level and club level scrubs after that. Ortiz has Wilder, a couple "C" level, then all clubs and scrubs. Wallin? Only Fury. Joyce? Only Dubois.

Parker has some decent names. as does Ruiz, but they also have very recent garbage that litters their fights.

Whyte and Joshua have the best resumes out there for this era, and while both of them are suspect, who cares? The point is at least the list of who Whyte and Joshua haven't fought is shorter than any of the above lists of who they have. It is just truth to say for this HW group, they are better than their peers. It is not like anyone else has set the bar that high.

Not short of options is joshua. But Joyce or wallin is best. Id like joyce to get chance but wallin being southpaw would be good for josh. Then if josh wins he can fight Fury.
If fury beats josh, fury is the best of era. If Josh beats Fury, Josh can go onto be the best of era. As Josh has lost, people might expect josh to do a bit more to cement his legacy. By beating wilder also, anything fury can do, josh can do type thing.

Joyce may actually be the best choice financially, if it is accepted that Wilder will make negotiations too difficult to deal with. If he fights joshua he will likely want way too much money. Joyce is at the age he needs a big money fight, and seeing how the British Isles are supporting boxing so well right now it would be a nice payday for both. However, he is the biggest risk of those names mentioned in the story so I would be surprised if this is the route they go for an interm fight with a new trainer.

Wallin just is a body. Joshua would get a good payday and Wallin comes cheaper. than Joyce, but the fight would not be as big. He is safer than Joyce for sure.

Ortiz would come about the same price as Wallin and is the easier touch. No worries for a focused Joshua.

So what is more important to Joshua at this stage? Bigger money an a better resume builder? Or a fight to get him back to the win column and provide him a full experience in his new camp set up?

Joyce could still be a fight down the line his best option is the guy better prepares him for the title fight where much more money is on the line .

Wallin needs to pipe down and actually fight someone instead of trying to talk his way into a top 10 ranking.
