And yet our boxing oracle djtmal has been unable to name a single ATG that he thinks Floyd should have fought, to earn his prestigious esteem.
How good is Floyd's resume?

You are talking about a guy who still has threads on this forum from late 2009 saying that Floyd is scared and ducking Mosley and should fight him next as that's the best fight to make.

Then has the audacity to still post almost 15 years later that it was a cherry pick

Oh haha. That would explain a lot. I hadn't bothered to go through his posting history.

Floyd's resume could of been great had he fought the best at their best during his run at 147.
For his pre-147 run or pretty boy floyd days, there just wasn't that many good fighters at that time.
So in short, Floyd's resume is good not great.Comment

This sums up Floyd's career:
TBE said “Triple G is a helluva fighter,” he did allow that. Floyd said he’d come out of retirement for just one fight, that being the exhibition versus the UFCer McGregor. Were he active, he said he’d fight and easily handle GGG, but now, he wants a mega-money match, and that spells McGregor.
Damn too bad he couldn't have proved me wrong on that one.Last edited by djtmal; 03-10-2022, 03:42 PM.Comment

solid resume, beat some good fighters, absolutely schooled canelo and made him look like a bum. although other than that a lot of names he fought were past prime when he fought him, not all but a lot were.Comment

Hahahaha. So now you're changing your tune and suggesting he should have fought GGG, even though prime Floyd is a generation behind prime GGG. Makes perfect sense

You still haven't named anyone in their prime at the same time as prime Floyd that he should have fought. If you're going to spout BS, at least try and back it up, it makes for a more convincing argument
