I’m not hating on bud I’m stating a fact… that fact is he did himself a disservice back when he re-signed with top rank he and everyone knew that most of the top names in the welterweight division we’re with Haymon and PBC… all he had to do was sign with Haymon a few years earlier and his dumbass wouldn’t be in the situation he is in now…. Do you know what Al Haymon offered Terence Crawford back when he renewed his contract with Top Rank if anything at all? And if Arum violated his agreement after the fact how is it Crawford’s fault? Is he supposed to be able to see the future. Shawn Porter fought Kell Brook and Brook is not with PBC and Al Haymon. Errol Spence fought Kell Brook and Brook is not with Al Haymon. Tyson Fury fought Deontay Wilder and Fury is with Bob Arum not with Haymon. Terence Crawford just fought an Al Haymon fighter in Shawn Porter and voilą Terence Crawford was with Top Rank. Is it the color of his skin that means he needs to sit down and be an obedient little nigglet or were there some other special circumstances that allowed those other fights to happen?

First of all, that is correct. I am an Errol Spence fan as well as a Terence Crawford fan with the uncanny ability of calling it right down the middle.

You are right. There have never been no negotiations between the two thus far except through the media.

However, judging by their preliminary negotiations through the press; Terence Crawford has said that a 60/40 split in Spence”s favor was unacceptable.

He wants at least a 50/50 purse split or even greater in his favor and the PBC have said never. So in that Sense Charlo is right.

Bud does need to humble himself and become more realistic in order for this fight to happen.

The media or social media does not play any role in any form of negotiations, preliminary or otherwise. The media is used as an apparatus to scuttle negotiations as was well documented in the Deontay Wilder vs Anthony Joshua non event saga. People go talking to the media about money splits when they aren’t willing to negotiate in good faith. Its the worst kept secret in the boxing business. Pay attention. When Errol Spence went on his rant about money splits and across the street excuses at his press conference the whole point was to kill any idea of that fight happening. That was not an offer. And Terence Crawford’s twitter reaction was just ego boosting self promotion. That was not a counter proposal. I’m sure everyone here already knows this. But the hungry trolls always need some nonsense to feed on I guess.

He may be right but too many fighters these days looking for reasons NOT to fight. Charlo - Crawford is a competitive, MONEY fight where he could get a potential W over a future Hall of Famer; I don't see why Charlo wouldn't welcome it. Sugar Ray Leonard COULD have said to Benitez, Duran & Hearns "No...fight this guy or that guy first...or fight each other first...then I'll fight you". But he didn't do that.. he fought them all and then they all ultimately fought each other too. They didn't look for reasons NOT to fight back in the day. I guess the game has changed.

The only reason why Charlo would be so triggered and clearly angered by Bud simply mentioning fighting the winner of the Castano rematch is because he feels threatened by him. Why else would he be so upset? He could just ignore it or say he'd welcome a smaller fighter like Bud moving up to challenge him but he's afraid if he lost to Bud, he'd never recover mentally because his ego is so massive.

All these fights should be 50/50 imo. Errol Spence may put a few more hardcore boxing fans in the seats but in the grand scheme of things, nobody knows these guys they should just let both names and their fighting sprit be the attraction and stop thinking they are. Times a wastin'

Narcissist diva Crawford will price himself out of any fight that's not a mandatory against a top welterweight. He would ask too much to fight Charlo too. He is not popular, he is no draw, Arum admitted to overpaying him and losing $ promoting him. Crawford's overall resume is mediocre and so is his welterweight resume. He fought mostly bums and faded former champs. He refuses to help promote himself. He refuses to do media, podcasts, etc... with any outlet that doesn't kiss his ass by overrating and over hyping him. The WBO belt is the least prestigious belt.
