Incidentally, why should Crawford act like ‘the challenger’ for a Spence fight? Not saying he’s had a brilliant record, but Spence hasn’t exactly torn up trees with his opponents either.

Jermell has a point here. It seems that Crawford only wants to fight Spence for the money and Spence wants to fight Crawford for the undisputed welterweight crown. It does not appear that 'Bud' is concerned with being undisputed all that much.

All he wants is a bigger pay check and he believes that Errol Spence is his best chance of receiving it. Otherwise, why would he spend all of this energy on purse splits and percentages? All Spence ever wanted was to fight.

Crawford wants to fight too but only on own terms. If he wants the fight badly enough then he would accept any offer that Errol is offering him. The hold out is Terence Crawford not Errol Spence. He's pricing himself out of the fight.

Its hilarious how Errol Spence fans are willing to completely fabricate reality. Errol Spence and Terence Crawford have never been in negotiations. Therefore Errol Spence has never offered Terence Crawford anything.
