While I think Van Heerden is a logical (and very gradual) step in Benn's progression, I do tire of the AB, Hooker, Brook chatter that leads up to Van Heerden.

Rest of the card sounds decent. CBS and McCarthy had a great first fight and I imagine the rematch will be good. Hopefully the winner can rematch Riakporhe.

He got his ass beaten so bad in under a round he had to take nearly 2yrs out to recover.

A better version couldn't hang with Boots for a round so obviously people are going too call this for what it is. A farce.

Since he wants to fight Boots leftovers why not give Lipinets a call? He's free I'm sure!
          Legit wouldn't surprise me.

Eddie Hearn would say its great value and a 50/50 fight.

"He beat Lamont Peterson 4 years ago!"

No one cares about Benn until he fights someone in the Top 10.

This fight does not get the Nash stamp of approval. Nash out.

He was out of the ring a year before boots. And the fight ended in a head-clash. Ennis wasn’t getting rid of Heerden anytime soon, it would’ve been interesting if he showed the same weaknesses he showed vs Eyubov.

Who cares if it was 2 years ago...Van Heerdan wasn't exactly a world beater then & Ennis fought him. So again, it's good enough for Ennis but not Benn.

Just because Ennis fought him it doesn't excuse this fight, both are trash
