Though I agree with you. Ward is done with boxing. His body cant do it no more.
Also, don’t forget, Canelo is a natural 154 pounder. Him stepping up in weight is a credit to his dedication to the sport. I wish more boxers took this game seriously, instead of blowing up between fights.

Prime vs prime, I’ve got Ward by UD, I think he’d make it a pretty ugly fight tbh. Would be interesting to see how he’d deal with the inside game of Canelo. I can’t ever remember Ward fighting anybody who had a good inside game. It’s a shame these guys just about missed each other.

I typically don't indulge in mythical matchups and it's usually because of all the variables that need to be considered.

Is this fight in Oakland or Vegas or somewhere else? If all things were equal, my guess is Ward wins an ugly fight by decision.

Most of the time in boxing they aren't equal. If the ref doesn't let Ward employ his "dirty boxing" or the judges favor Canelo's aggression no matter it's effectiveness then I imagine Alvarez takes it by close decision.
