Honestly I think it would end with Ward getting DQd. Against any even solid opponent, Ward fought really rough dirty fights (except maybe vs Froch, haven't rewatched that thriller in a while).

Surely the fight vs Canelo would be rough and dirty as well, and I think the ref would be quick to penalize Ward. I think Ward would make the decision to fight dirty still and get the DQ and get the headlines that way, vs just going 12 rounds and getting the loss that way.

        What’s your point dumbass?

Crawford probably walks around at 170’ish, he’d have to bloated to be at 180. Regardless, he makes 147 and looks healthy doing it.

Do you actually think Canelo could make 154?

Canelo would badly struggle to make 160. He’s a natural Super Middleweight, anybody with eyes can see that.

One of these weird ass Ward haters. Now it makes sense…

Ward is one of the three guys who could beat Canelo in SMW history. Others are RJJ and Calzaghe. Prime Ward vs prime Canelo is 50/50 imo.

"Natural" weight is the weight that fighters feel most comfortable with. Canelo's most complete and comfortable version is 168. He was hell drained at 154.

Movement, Jab, Speed, Creativity 'Physical strength'.

These are the attributes that Alvarez seemingly, as zero answers for.

When Alvarez is faced with overcoming these attributes, he will ether wait until his opponents make a mistake or? Just play the long game, and hope his opponent fades.

Amir Khan was out boxing, and beating Alvarez. Alvarez had zero answers. So he tactically just played the long game, and knew that the longer the fight went the more opportunities would appear.

Against Floyd Mayweather who was not even at his peak, Alvarez just had no answers. Because Mayweather could maintain his intensity for 12 rounds, intensity of mind and intensity of his physical out-put etc

Andre Ward is similar, he is not going to start making wild mistakes as the fight drags on. Once he is in a rhythm, a boxing rhythm he can maintain that.

Alvarez is not a ballistic type of fighter, he lacks gears. So he is not going to suddenly dramatically change the pace of the fight vs Andre Ward.

Alvarez is a great fighter, but there are ways he can be exposed. His lack of gears, lack of movement, and I don't think he can fight at a extremely high pace for long periods of time.

If Alvarez had those abilities, he should of just abandoned all boxing vs Mayweather and went through the gears. Aimed to land on Mayweather anywhere, body, arms, gloves, shoulders, throat you name it 'None of that happen, he was beaten 12-0 to 12-1 easy'.

I think Andre Ward beats Alvarez via 12 rounds unanimous decision. I don't quite think he has the power to stop him, but maybe he can stop Alvarez from a sustained attack etc

I rate Ward highly but I’ve got Canelo in this matchup.

How do you beat a guy who is allowed to hold any time he wants and who makes every fight wrestling match?
Ward (the "Anaconda") wins, unless you get a ref whose is not afraid to enforce the rules.
