Not a Canelo fan but I totally agree with him on this. Fighting each other will get them all good paydays & then the winner gets Canelo. He is in control of his destiny & if you want him then earn it. He is the cash cow & go whatever route pays him the best. Sitting around fighting low level competition doesn’t pay nor does it get any of them closer to Canelo. It doesn’t matter who Canelo fights because he is the man with the massive fan base. He is getting paid handsomely no matter what while the rest are not. Don’t get in line with your hand out. It's okay to fight a Fielding or Yildrim when you come off a Golovkin or Smith,
literally the best in their weight classes.
What's not okay is when all you fight is Yildrims and Fieldings.
Charlo hasn't had a signature win since J Rock in 2016.
Even if you count Dev, that's one fight in 2016 that felt like it mattered.
