I agree Rolly isn’t better than those names but it’s not a bad fight for Tank imo it’s good stepping stone for his resume. The only issue I have is it’s not a PPV worthy fight.

He's 27 years old, he has 26 fights under his belt, and he's still only faced 3 top 10 opponents and 0 top 5 opponents.

He has only faced 5 legit world titlists in his career and that includes completely shot fighters like Cristobal Cruz (0-4-1 coming into the Davis fight, 5 years and 2 weight classes since his title reign) and one-legged Gamboa.

The only fighter he ever faced in his career that both won a world title AND was ranked in the top 10 by TBRB/Ring at the time of the fight in the division the fight happened was when he fought #7 Jose Pedraza. The only other ranked fighters he ever faced were fake ass "Regular" champion #9 Barrios and #6 Isaac Cruz.

Santa Cruz was unranked at super featherweight when Tank fought him. Obviously Gamboa and Cristobal Cruz were unranked. Hugo Ruiz was unranked and two divisions up from where he won his world title.

Davis is essentially a janitor, but a janitor that makes a couple million dollars a year.

If you were a janitor that made a couple million dollars a year, would you risk giving up that job because people on the internet said you were a coward for not trying your hand at being a master welder?

I'm not saying I like Davis or I agree with what his handlers are doing, I'm just saying - stop wasting your energy complaining about this guy. He's getting paid but accomplishing nothing. Who cares?

We the fans are the targeted customers.

As a customer I'm not happy with the product the promoters are serving up. So I'm letting them know by voicing my dissatisfaction.

And will continue to do so.
