Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua: 'I've Been Listening To A lot of Virgil Hunter'

Anthony Joshua is apparently trying to soak in as much boxing knowledge from as many sources as possible for his upcoming rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.

    Big deal.
Can't teach a fighter heart, a chin or change his bodybuilder gas tank. Vigil would be trying to train a wooden horse not to rock.
Should have done tge rematch in Feb when it was planned but Rematchroom & sumner stadium greed.
Fighter's fight, AJ's a crossfit trainer that boxes occasionally.

I didn't know that Virgil Hunter had released albums.

Usyk has much more important issues to deal with than a potential rematch.

They are very brave men, Usyk, Lomachenko and the Klitschkos'.

Dunno why people rate Hunter so well. Andre Ward really carried Virgil because I can't think of any other fighter Virgil trained that really made it big.

"I know it’s a clicks business these days. And I understand that clicks pay the bills." - Lyle Fitzsimmons

What Joshua needs is less . Way, way less.
Virgil Hunter is the last guy he needs. Except maybe Ben Davidson.
He's gotten all tangled up since he fought Klitschko and tried to become something it should now be apparent that he's definitely not.
This overthinking thing really isn't any help to him.
