why did Wilder have an issue dealing with fury's weight leaning?

in the press conference, Wilder talked about how he was benching 350lb's so Fury's weight leaning wasn't going to be an issue because he was going to be able to push him off?

Bench pressing is not the same as moving a live body.

Because he should have been squatting instead benching with poor form.

so what if he bench presses 350 for how ever many reps. its not the same thing as a 270 pound manmore laying on you in the 10th round after youre already exhausted.

No footwork, weak legs, can't fight on the inside.

He needs leverage and space to let go of his hands. They tried working on his jab to create that space, but he couldn't be consistent with it and once Fury created an angle his feet wouldn't move to negate that.

Once he struggled to keep Fury off, Fury's weight obviously drained him.
