It was a robbery Caterall, clearly dropped, and out boxed Taylor all night long.
Try as Taylor might he just couldn't get the better of Caterall, who had something for him at every turn.
Caterall earned the decision, and those belt's, he just didn't receive either because of 2 corrupt judge's.
I'd like to see the rematch even in the 147 pound weight division, as Taylor stipulated.
I believe that Caterall would still beat him at that weight as well, he has the style that nullifies Taylor's boxing abilities.

Fitsimmons is one of the worst writers on this site, no idea why he gets paid for this, and he clearly doesn't understand a 10 point scoring system on a round by round basis. He is actually condoning corruption in this latest piece of tripe...Comment

"Indignance"......indeed.. The word you're looking for...maybe??..... is Indignation....Maybe.By Lyle Fitzsimmons - I tried, folks. No, really, I did. But I just don't see it. No matter where I cruised in the cyber boxing universe early Sunday morning - within hours of the 140-pound title fight in Glasgow - I just couldn't muster the indignance others have seemed to manage. Even though I did everything you're supposed to do in these situations.

Just because you're boxing writer...Hurrah.. you need not go as far as to torture your own vocabulary. Yes it IS a word, but in this case used incorrectly. You do a lot of that frim time to time.Comment

I had no horse in this race whatsoever AND I was watching the biased Andre Ward commentary where Ward came across like Taylors secret lover and that was a legit robbery.
By round 8 I had Taylor needing to basically win all of the last 5 rounds AND score 2 knockdowns to overhaul my card and he didn't do either.
I stopped scoring it after round 8 because Catterall had an unassailable lead if Taylor didn't score 2 knockdowns.
For Taylor to get the decision you HAVE to give him rounds he VERY CLEARLY lost, THAT is a robbery.Comment

ESPN's commentary on the fight was deplorable, except for Tim Bradly who was visibly upset, and called it for Caterall.
The rest of the commentator's looked like they didn't know what to say after Bradly called them out.
As good of a fighter as Andre Ward was, he sounded like a crony of Taylor's, and just to be clear Caterall did take the title from Tayor.
He just wasn't given his just due, which should have been the win by unanimous decision, and the title belt's.
