Lyle sounds like a not only a flat earther, but a JT satchel schwanger as well.

The only thing this writer makes a case for is his own myopic scoring. Taylor wasn’t landing. Catterall did a great job of neutralizing his offense throughout. I am not a fan of that style, but Taylor looks stymied and failed to get any offense going. He kept walking straight onto punches and woofing air. No way I could give him 6 rounds. I felt 4 was being generous to the home town hero.

It seems more like a purposely contraire headline and view to work on his debating skills and drive discourse. Part of the business I guess.
My bother and I figured Taylor would get the screw in but maybe as draw. To get the win out of the deal was a real stretch, but nobody can be shocked that it happened. I always though Taylor was overrated. A guy with 19 fights from Scotland on the P4P list is already worth investigating on precedent alone.
He kept ducking into his opponents 1-2. He absorbed the cleaver punches and was visibly more marked up. It was ugly wrestling on both parts but I saw it mutual in that aspect. Taylor looked a bit stringy and his legs never looked strong.
I feel really bad for Catterral. This could ruin him. Taylor will most likely blame the weight cut, vacate and jump up in weight. Put some distance between the stink. Get a big pay day against a top guy even if he loses. He knows he can lose now, might as well get paid.
I wasent a Taylor fan. I’m less now. Still he has a chance to be the underdog now ( if he moves up ) and shock the world. That’s what he needs to do to credit from me.

Lyle has always been fool of it.... Most of his stories you always have to take with a grain of salt, and yet he has his fan boys on here who think he's good.

Knockdown in round 8 -> 10-8 . Point deduct in round 11 (and giving Taylor the round still) -> 9-9.

Taylor would have to have won 7 rounds out of the other 10 for a win of 114-112.

Or to look at it another way, you can only have given Catterall 3 out of the other 10 rounds to see a Taylor victory. I have an incredibly hard time believing anyone could have done that given the first six rounds of the fight. It wasn't a close fight.

It's a kind of charity by the site to pay him for his rubbish. I used to like his breezy style but he's benn well over the top for a long time now. The site needs another writer, more factual and less opinionated..

I DID write something, when there ere only a couple or thre comments; and that was- "Bad Left Hook had it 114-111 for Catterall", and were generous in 2-3 rounds. This is nowhere to be seen so I assume that BoxingScene, ,jealous of my mentioning another site, deleted it.
