It's better to dominate a division, move up, dominate that division, move up, and dominate that division, etc. It's not either or. If GGG was what they marketed him as, he should have KO'd Jacobs and Canelo, then gone up to 168 or 175 and beaten Ward, Kovalev, etc. Instead he hasn't even performed well against good competition at 160, let alone 168 or 175, and that is why so many fans have been underwhelmed by how his career turned out after waiting years to finally see him get his "chance."
