It's a lot easier to move up in weight when you turn pro at 15 like Canelo did. At the age GGG turned pro, Canelo already had 46 pro fights.
You make good points but the real reason GGG is still 160 is DISCIPLINE. Canelo likes to eat but he’s a gym rat so he’s never fat but is bulky. I think 168 would help GGG feel better BUT he knows theirs much more risk going up. He WONT have his same speed AND devastating power and he can’t just take shots like he normally does. Bigger boys hit harder.

I mean, going beyond the whole Ward thing.

      Why ?

There are tons of Nelo is ''ducking'' X SMW+
Has there ever been a thread criticizing GGG for not moving up ?

        Froch, huh
GGG picking on a worn old timer with 1 foot out the door. Something Nelo haters say Nelo is doing to GGG

        Jr, huh
After what loss was this in the making ?

Why not toss in Ward ?

Hagler stayed at MW all of his career. Why didn't he move up?

Maybe you should have pressured your boy Floyd to defend those 154 belts with GGG....

            GGG.

“It’s possible for me [to go down to fight him]. I would go to 154 just for Floyd.

            Floyd.

He's straight up and down with no special effects."

            In the next breath:

"I can't make 160 pounds...I can barely make 147. If I could go up to 155 pounds, I would beat him (GGG)...that's easy work,"

but Floyd, didn't you fight at 154 3x

            Yeah ok

Being a Pac fan boi deluxe, you were hyped watching him fight the worst opponents available and only mostly winning

''Taking blood from me doesn't seem natural to me.''

              We know Pac, we know

              • OK, I will repeat the topic of this thread (for the umpteenth time)

My gripe ISN'T WITH GGG STAYING IN A DEAD DIV

It's 1000000000000000000000000 % on Nelo haters, GGG groupies and hypocrites who loved watching GGG lay waste to the least troublesome line up possible. Those fans never demanded GGG explore tougher (BIGGER) opponents until he conveniently became too old to defend himself

For those who are STILL CONFUSED, my condolences.

Well ya win some, ya lose some. Thats part of the game, but what part of the game is this:

                  Floyd.

He's straight up and down with no special effects."
