It was Khan's best career performance. His chin was never great, but it got worse with age. He didn't used to get rocked with jabs, etc, early in his career, only big shots. His last number of fights anything that landed hurt him. Nash out.

Same way he would’ve beaten Brook if he were prime. Just absorbed Brook’s attack and overwhelmed Brook in the rds he wasn’t taking a breather.

would’ve been easier than Madonna though. The liver shot probably helped him luck out there.

He was getting rocked by jabs in the amateurs, prescott rocked him with a jab, pretty sure some other guy early in his career too. His chin was only really good with Ariza and Roach. You actually had to catch him solid and often to start hurting him. Never came close to wobbling from a jab or even the first bomb a guy landed.

He showed a decent chin vs Brook too (who has ko’d a few of guys with his jab), his defense is just really bad. He got caught with a lot of picture perfect right crosses (which should’ve been KO blows).

Khan has the worst chin in history, how did he beat Maidana?
As bad as Khan's chin was then, and it was really bad....

It's about 5x worse now. Are you forgetting how Canelo almost killed him?

How do you take a thread that had nothing to do about Floyd, and make it about him? LOL

Anyways. Khan was in his prime, and 140 was probably his best weight. 135 he was too drained and at 147+ there were some hard hitters.

Maidana was super overrated bum, is there to be hit all night. Has no footwork, just a plodder.
The only thing he's got going for him is his awkwardness and his strength, the only reason he was a contender and a champ is because of the 'fake belts era' of today and he would never have been a champ in the past.

It was the pre-Robert Garcia version of Maidana.

It was the worst version of Maidana ever and the best version of Khan. And 140 was the best Khan`s weight.

Maidana from Broner fight or from Mayweather fights would kill Khan.

ehh worst version of maidana was against Erik Morales

at 140 Khan was a pretty good fighter, had an pretty good run

ppl forget Tim Bradley straight up ducked him, he got robbed against Lamont Peterson

I honestly think if the Peterson robbery didnt happen, he might've not gotten KO'd or even fought Garcia

Though eventually he would've gotten KO"d once he moved to WW
