Assuming Davis and his trainers are together for, say a couple of hours, what else do they have to talk about but boxing...and opponents. SO..if Lomaxhenko's name did not come up for a minute oir two in their conversation, THAT would be the strangest thig of all. So they are making the usual Mayweather headline out of virtually nothing. HIS tactic was always to wait until he was SURE he would win, like , say, if his opponent was over the hill, or, had a broken leg than never he heals or coudn't punch his way out oc a feather pillow, , nothing big, but just a big advantage.

I’m right there with ya at 47. Boxing is absolutely, pathetically awful right now and has been the last several years. It’s probably at the lowest point its ever been. We can thank all parties for its demise.

It seem to become the trend once Floyd ascended the throne as "the PPV star" so u can simply call it the Floyd model. That said, even Floyd wasn't this bad with his selective matchmaking. Tank just refuses to fight anybody of note, Devin Haney seem like he's always posturing, Ryan Garcia aint worth a damn, Crawford, Spence, 160 pound Charlo etc..list goes on. Guys fight one good fight and then they feel they deserve 4 or 5 more light touches or go on self imposed hiatus and come back screaming get back fight.Truly shameful esp in an era where they only fight once or twice a year.
