I never said Haney hadn’t earned it. I’d have no issue with Kambosos-Haney, just as I have no issue with Kambosos-Loma. Both are good fights and make complete sense. Kambosos vs Haney is for all 4 ABC’s and Kambosos vs Loma is #1 vs #2 in the division.

Loma was a 2x Olympic and 2x World Amateur champion so was matched aggressively, he beat a WBO ranked fighter in his first pro fight so became a ranked contender and Salido fought him in a voluntary defence. What’s the issue with that? What’s the point in wasting time when he was clearly ready, he literally beat a future 7 year reigning Featherweight champion in his third fight.

It’s not like Haney is out here pulling a Ryan Garcia and just talking and backing out of fights. He’s waited his turn, has been a victim of boxing politics and here it’s happening again. He became mandatory , loma asked for the bullshet franchise title instead of facing him, and now is getting in the way of a unification. He had to fight f***ing Salido and GRJ too, those aren’t gimme’s like Abdullaev. They were very, very, very tough fights for a guy with such little pro experience. Loma has had it tough from his pro debut, he’s literally had to EARN everything as a pro. Nothing was handed to him.
