Loma is an example of maybe the most entitled move ever. He demanded a title shot in his first pro fight. When he was told he needed at least 1 pro fight first, He got a title shot in his 2nd pro fight , lost, and got another title shot in his 3rd pro fight. Doesn’t get more entitled than that.
He lost...yes, but Salido was a full welterweight that night, and the ref was as blind as a bat. Haven't 52 low blows at least been counted and mentioned over and over. At that, Lomachenko lost only by a split decision. Do you think the ow blows had nop effect. You should take just ONE, and see how you like it. Protection or not it hurts ...I KNOW.

52 low blows plus a 17 lb weight advantage. and that's only what we could see, Knowing Salido I'd say there was much more dirt slinging that night by him.

He got it because he was good enough to get it. He had a massive and well deserved reputation, that automatically would allow him to fightb whoever he wanted. And, as the record shows, he barely lost to a 17 lb weight advantaged and about 60 low blow artist who should have been DQ by the 4th rd. And, to show his quality, which you seem to doubt, won three titles in a total of 12 fights. nobody had ever come close to anything like that. AND...they was all unbeaten champions.

Yes. AfL stadium seems odd choice. Rugby stadium with steep sides better.

[QUOTE=James Hunt;n31301313]Snake DiBella would rather drill a hole in his knee than do Hearn any favors...[/QUOTE

Bottom line, Lou DiBella did what was best for his fighter, not a network, manager or anyone else. Lou got George the most money and best terms....simple as that.

I previously stereotyped Kambosos as one of those great underdogs that was a great matchup for the incumbent Champion; and thought he’d have a tough time continuing his win streak against top contenders (and Lightweight is stronger than most, if not all, of the other divisions in that regard).

I rewatched the Lopez fight and had to reconsider.

Kambosos did a great job at controlling the fight, keeping Teofimo at an uncomfortable distance, countering, and leading. He displayed excellent stamina, confidence, and a remarkable resilience about him.

Loma’s one of the best fighters in boxing, no doubt; I think Kambosos brings some of the counterpunching prowess that made him so reluctant against Lopez and certain other aspects that can trouble him. I now see it as a great matchup that will be closely contested.

Great action fight but Lomachanko doesn't need shoulder surgery.

Kambosos is the new Famechon, Devin Haney is a bum.

So did Hearn throw a spanner in the works? Can't imagine it was Haney. I'm happy though; this is the fight I was hoping for; exciting fight.
