Your reliable sources are gonna post it online tomorrow but not today? But they told you because you're so well connected and always keep news to yourself?

I get the want to boost Thurman to make a Crawford or Boots fight bigger. This imo was not the way to do it.

This should’ve been on Fox or Sho and paired with better fights.
To make a Crawford or boots fight bigger? PBC doesn't/isnt going to have the finances to pay Crawford his asking gaurantee and both Spence and Thurman aren'texactly chomping at the bit to face Bud either. This was a ppv intent on hyping a Spence vs Thurman fight.

It failed along with PBC's recent run of attempting to exploit us fans and the ppv model. Looks like us boxing fans have gotten fed up of being force fed shyte. There's not one single fight for any matchup between 2 PBC fighters that will be a ppv success so hopefully Al wises up and abandons all these ppvs and "our side of the street" nonsense . Bring back boxing to "free tv",you know, like what PBC was initially meant to be. Every other promotional outfit have found was to do it without having to resort to the ppv,why can't PBC....

It appears a boycott is in place for the PPC/Showtime fights. How long will it take them to give us Spence vs Crawford? I think they'll realize they have no choice now.
Showtime stopped releasing official numbers years ago jackass.

The fans haven’t exploited sh.it. There numbers have dropped because they’re giving us sh.it fights. If they put on Tank vs Tekashi KingRy the numbers would spike. Plain and simple.

Damn 1.25m total lol, that cant be right? With the providers cut and promotional expenses, hard to imagine it breaking even, even with the the gaurantee purses being peanuts like that.

Well no **** but PBC isn't so what's the point of discussing could've,wouldves. The fact remains they continue throwing **** at the wall and it's no longer sticking,so until they do they can fuch off with all these PPV's.

According to the website I looked at Thurman was guaranteed $750k with 50% of PPV share that could get upwards of $3 million depending on PPV numbers.

Barrios had a $500k guaranteed purse with up to a million in PPV revenue.

Who knows if those numbers are right but I imagine it's something around there.

After having been fed to tank,I would assume Leo's gaurantee is up there as well. Hopefully this reported buy rate is close to correct as they can only be positive for us fans. Asking us to fork over $80 for every mediocre has become ridiculous.

Good point, I didn't even think of how much the undercard cost would be. That same site reported LSC getting $500k and Carbajal getting $150k.

If the buy rate is correct, then it would be hard pressed to break even. I didn't get this card myself and rarely do get them although I admit I bought the Ortiz/Martin PPV. I'm a sucker for all HW cards and at a price point of $50, I was willing to pay to watch some action on a quiet weekend for boxing.
