UK judging has become a major problem.

Honestly this fight could’ve been judged either way. Jacobs only has himself to blame for stepping off the gas (or was it actually Ryder took the gas out of him?)
Its a sport and people will view things differently but it was 50/50’as soon as it went to the judgesComment

I didnt think it was an outrageous robbery.
I thought 7-5 Jacobs was the likeliest outcome, 6-6 also possible, 7-5 Ryder was very generous. But Ive seen way worse robberies.
Felix Cash won every round except when he got knocked out on my scorecard. One round was close, but was still leaning Felix Cash in that round.
Dont see how UK is more terrible than other places. I think you were the creator of the bad scorecards thread. I used that concept on a discord server.
And the most recent bad scorecards are:
Ruben Rocky Taylor - Ford Vs Vazquez 98-92
Chris Wilson - Ford Vs Vazquez 97-93
Steve Weisfeld - Trevor Bryan Vs Jonathan Gudiry 112-115
Steve Weisfeld - Ilunga Makabu Vs Thabiso Mchunu 115-113
Jamie Garayua - Ilunga Makabu Vs Thabiso Mchunu 116-112
Efrain Lebron - De Los Santos - Foster - 77-74
Michael Alexander - Parker Vs Chisora - 114-112
Ingo Barrabas - Parker Vs Chisora - 115-111
Giustino Di Giovanni - Gongora Vs Richards - 116-112
Pat Russell - Crowley Vs Abdukhurov - 95-94
James Kinney - Nico Ali Walsh Vs Reyes Sanchez 40-36
Lou Moret - Fundora Vs Garcia - 118-110
Alejandro Rochin - Fundora Vs Garcia - 117-111
Kevin Morgan - Hunter Vs Forrest - 96-94
John Basile - Chaney Vs Arias - 96-94
Don Trella - Teofimo Lopez Vs George Kambosos - 114-113
Steve Weisfeld - Ogawa Vs Futilze Fuzile - 114-111
Rubin Rocky Taylor - Jose Benavidez Vs Francisco Torres - 96-94
Dennis O'Connell - Jose Benavidez Vs Francisco Torres - 95-95
Chris Wilson - Jose Benavidez Vs Francisco Torres - 95-95Comment

The best thing about UK judging being so corrupt (which it undoubtedly is), is that perhaps, just maybe, it gives USA fans a chance at some introspection in regards to their own attitudes and feelings toward their own judges and their decisions. There's a whole lot of 'greatest fighters of all time' from the USA that have questionable 'victories' and who fight almost exclusively on their own soil.
Maybe a USA boxing fan seeing blatant robberies involving 'one of their own' in the UK might think about all those from around the world, especially poorer nations, who have gone to the USA and whenever there is CLOSE to a 50/50 fight, 95% of the time it goes to the A-side/USA fighter (who is almost always the A-side, given the nature of boxing, promoters, TV networks etc. and the money involved).
Though I might just be giving USA fans and their collective IQs too much credit...Comment

- - U BigBoys starting to overflow again? It’s becoming a real problem over here. I’m a Ryder fan and I don’t begrudge him getting a decision when several have gone against him in the past but there’s no way in hell Danny Jacobs lost that fight. He clearly won the first 6 rounds. I also gave him the 12th and the 10th. Regardless, there’s no way you can give him less than 6 rounds.
Then before that we had Cash vs Madiev. Two of the judges gave Cash every single round aside from the two he was dropped in.
It’s laughable.
The UK is becoming the worst place in boxing for the away fighter in regard to judging. The BBBofC need to take action, they won’t though cause Robert Smith will continue looking after his mates.
It was a nothing fight for technical details too far above the usual IQ level on this forum. It's like listening to sissies howl after breaking a nail.Comment
