I'm sure Whyte wants it bad, but so did Wilder... and look how that turned out.

Fury is just freakish. There's never been a fighter close to 300 lbs. with that level of energy and recovery rate for 12 rounds.

Who exactly do you rate as being with a short at Fury in the heavyweight top 5?

Oh yeah, Wilder who has fought one top fighter and been schooled three times.
Whyte isn’t top 5. He’s 2-1 in his last 3 fights and was KOd badly in one and dropped in the other(which he tested positive before btw). AJ fringe top 5 at this point Usyk is a solid #2. Usyk could give fury some work definitely. Still take fury but Usyk is very good and has a high boxing IQ. Joyce is interesting due to his size and athleticism and durability and he’s pretty much like a tree lol fury is same size and would hold a speed advantage but it’s a great fight joe is a threat. I still like Dubois a lot too that kid will win a title he’s got a lot of career ahead of him. AJ and whyte just aren’t that good anymore. They’ve lost it a bit whyte was decent but never great AJ was in the verge of greatness but never quite lived up to his hype.

So you have Dubious and Joyce top 5? But not Whyte and AJ is only fringe?

I agree they're interesting fights but you can't write off a fighter's entire resume from a fight or two. Forget AJ and Whyte's last couple of fights... what has anyone done to surpass them?

Joshua, Usyk and Fury are still the top 3 fighters in the division. And I wouldn't back any of them with 100% confidence in a matchup. Whyte and Wilder round out the 5 and, again, you'd have to accept they have a chance, albeit slim.

There's plenty of boxing left to decide this era. At a point in time you can say who is the current number one, not who's the best of era.

Not really he ended up with a civil lawsuit Wilder had to pay out In the end because he lost that court case .

Fury confirmed he will defend his WBC title against domestic rival Whyte next and Usyk's manager has blamed the Brit for the collapse of their undisputed fight
