Is he lying though? Outside of a few male feminists, like yourself obviously, nobody cares about womens boxing. The PPV buys and ratings reflect it. Womens MMA is a far bigger deal. There is too much of a gap between actual talented females and the rest. Yet I am sure this post makes you pat yourself on the back.

Brontobob is correct. I know when I see a female fight there wont be a KO and It's gonna last the entire arm punching distance. All the air gets taken out of the room and all a female fight means is I have time to get more beer or a hamburger and be back in time for the real fights. Id still watch women box before I'd ever watch men play tennis so there's that..
