Must be a low reward, high risk type scenario? Either way, it’s ridiculous! I say just give Charles Martin the shot, I’m sure he will jump at the chance. Sure he is coming off a loss, but he is still at number 10 in the rankings and he gave a very good account of himself against Ortiz, he got caught…but that could happen to any heavyweight. Give him the chance, I’m sure he would take it and it wouldn’t surprise me if he beats Hrgovic either.
You're clearly a fan and this isn't new. BOXING FANS cannot have it both ways and I'm not dismissing your post or criticizing at all. Fans have no problem allowing promoters to go the low risk high reward route then wonder why the other promoters won't risk their fighters.
without getting paid. Until we hold them all accountable, nothing will change. It sucks and that's the reason why our sport has falling to be honest. The fighters aren't scared by any means. If the fans only supported and watched the great matches, the promoters won't be scared to lose their investment I guess.

All the IG boxers shook to bits of a real one.

Hrgovic is the real boogeyman. Boxers are cowards, remember that guys, never give any respect to the guys who say they "Respect all fighters" n that dumb ****, as if they are firefighters risking their lives. They are "risking their lives" voluntarily for mindless entertainment, and for a HUGE paycheck.

It's just weird, I can identify anything that scary about this guy, he seems like a good fighter but you'd think this guy was going around straight up murdering people in the ring or something.

Damn, if only my hometown guy, Arslanbek Makhmudov, from Montreal was ranked in the IBF!

There are champions and then fighters who become a champion. Ruiz is a feel good story in the later group. It's ok if he never pans out.

They should just declare Hrgovic the mandatory, honestly.
The IBF are actually really good about calling for their mandatory to get a shot, so good that the IBF has blocked unification fights from happening so that their mandatory can be satisified. But yeah, they should just make Hrgovic the mando and give anyone who complains a big middle finger.

The road map is out on Ruiz and Parker drew it. The bum leg only makes things worse.
