It still begs the question of why Hrgovic is in a final eliminator in the first place? Why is he ranked above all those they are trying to make his fight with?

Lol...that was half decent. The Brits hate on Yoka. Why wouldn't they?

So, nothing is settled yet. Since fighter qualifications and reasonable assesment of relative ability have ALWAYS been only small features in the methodology used to assemble the monthly ratings by the Alphabet Soup Bandito companies that sell "World Title" belts to promotional companies in the wild, wild west of Boxing's freelance, patchwork regulated landscape.....maybe this mass reluctance to take on a live risk like big Filip Hrgovic for modest gain provides them a lesson. Just maybe, in addition to compiling ratings based on promotor and management connections and payoffs, maybe they need to incorporate a stradegy to ensure that somebody is inserted into the top 15 who is game for a chance. As it stands now you've got high rankers who've overpriced their services, guys whose management is protecting their ranking, a few who've recently fought tough, and Tony Yoka, the ONE step up guy with an undefeated record, a high ranking and a bright future.

            The IBF status today remains:
Belt holder: Oleksandr Usyk. Bound to Joshua
            1. Not Rated
            2. Luis Ortiz Just fought tough 01/01, won
            3. Filip Hrgovic Looking for a dance partner.
            4. Anthony Joshua Bound to Usyk
            5. Tony Yoka. Accepted, but bound to Bakole
            6. Joe Joyce. Declined
            7. Agit Kabayel. Declined
            8. Murat Gassiev. Declined
            9. Andy Ruiz Jr. Declined
            10. Charles Martin Just fought tough 01/01, lost
            11. Joseph Parker. Declined
            12. Demsey McKean. Declined
            13. Zhang Zhilei. Willing, but better used in China
            14. Hughie Fury Expected to Decline
            15. Martin Bakole. Bound to Yoka

Unranked but could be (and would be) inserted IF willing to go against Hrgovic:
Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin, Michael Hunter, Daniel Dubouis, Frank Sanchez, Dereck Chisora, Efe Ajagba, Simon Kean, Adam Kownacki, Carlos Takam, Mike Balogun, Jerry Forrest, Ali Eren Demirezen.

Make him the mandatory, but insist he fights Yoka if he becomes available in the next 6 months as the mandatory is not due for a while.
