Is Canelo Alvarez the worst cherrypicker and ducker in boxing history?

GGG was undefeated, could crack top 10 all time at mw, and Canelo beat a damn good version of him. The first fight was controversial but he gets full credit for beating the brakes off GGG in the rematch. He didn't take a century to fight him either like the 8 years Floyd was running from Manny.

Cotto was also 35 and past it , yet Canelo made him look very good, when it should have been a show case fight. Every big name he fights was old and past it, and the others look like crap their previous fights. He is becoming a bit of a fraud, and the blatant ducking of Benavidez is the icing on the cake.

I’ve noticed Canelo only fights either old fighters past their primes or a fighter coming off a terrible performance his last fight.

Mosley (on a 3 loss streak before Canelo cherrypicked him)
GGG (waited till he was 35 and only when he went life and death with Jacobs that Canelo picked him)
Kovalev (old and washed who got ktfo a few fights earlier before Canelo cherrypicked him on a very short notice)
Callum Smith (looked terrible vs Ryder, Arguably lost)
Saunders (looked terrible vs Coceres, was losing on the cards before the KO)
Plant (looked terrible vs Truax)

In short Canelo wants no part of a fighter who looked good in his recent fights and is not old or washed.

Don’t expect him to fight Beterbiev, Bivol, Joe Smith, Golovkin and Andrade anytime soon.

With Canelo’s trend of cherrypicking I’m pretty sure Charlo (looked terrible against Montiel would be on a 11 month layoff in May) or Makabu (looked horrible vs Mchunu, only won by robbery) is next on his cherry list.

- Callum Smith DWARFED Canelo, one of the biggest SMWs, who was actually a LHW weight bully, also an undefeated champ. You ***** ass haters accused Canelo of ducking the guy and fighting Fielding for a paper title instead, Callum was too big and stronk for ginger, then after Canelo whooped him you changed your tune ofc

- Saunders, undefeated champ not losing a fight ever since he was 18yo, with a slick fighting style the haters claimed was kryptonite for Canelo's flatfootedness, therefore he'd duck him. Canelo schooled him, broke his face, and you were wrong again, as always

- Plant, another undefeated champ, with a slick style and much bigger than ginger, in a fight to become undisputed. he didn't look too good in his last fight, ok what were you clowns expecting Canelo to do? wait another year or something, so Plant could get an impressive KO win or something? because making fights for undisputed is sooo easy, and the stars always align for it, fighters are always active and mandatories, networks, promoters, etc never get in the way, right?

Canelo is still in his prime. A little premature to say whether or not he goes down as a career level cherry picker like Floyd. I don't think anyone will surpass Floyd as the worst cherry picker of all time. But we can say that Canelo certainly learned a lot from his fight with Floyd, in and out of the ring.

For better or worse cotto was the "lineal champ" because the boxing match makers allowed the sergio-cotto fight to take place with sergio hobbling around on leg supports so cotto easily destroyed a sergio would could barely walk.

Cotto ran a lot from canelo. it was a crappy boring fight. canelo has gotten better at cutting off the ring since then. it is what it is. Benavidez should have refrained from drug use because he would have had his belt and fought canelo already.
