You definitely have a point on him losing the title twice.
Only Benavidez should be held accountable for losing it twice, no excuse on that.
I just think the Plant fight is perfect for both now that none of them have titles and they have a long rivalry going on. Regarding later rounds, he has shown that his stamina is great as rounds go on, I think he does just fine.

I not worried about Benavides stamina, is him squeezing down to make weight. He is young and might have outgrown the division. They should fight since it is an easy fight to make, neither has a title and there is a lack of interesting fights since Canelo has all the titles.

BJS looks like he is not fighting anymore, Smith went to another division and Morrell is green in the division. But knowing boxing and these guys they might fight another no hoper and keep crying that nobody want to face them.

he even lost one of his belts for his inability to make the weight anymore

then that's a clear signal you've outgrown the division, and you need to move up
