Benavidez Plant should happen. I favpr Daviid as well, but you never know. You have a chance to shine gainst a guy who hung in with Canelo for about 4 rounds before getting walked down. Winner if it is Benmavidez catapults to head of line for Canelo with an impressive win here.

Yeah, I mean Morell is definitely amongst the names I would also like to see mix it up.
But Bneavidez and Plant are both in their prime and they might as well strike while the iron is hot.

Which is why I stated in my original post that if Videz has the Lemiuex fight in tact still, Plant vs Ben later this year would be awesome.

The Canelo fight should have helped Plant in experience definitely.
I just see Bneavidez way more aggressive than Plant and has a huge chance of walking Plant down too.

If he, plant, fights Morell jr next, I do not think he would fight benavidez right after. First, I think Morell jr will outclassed him, so benavidez vs plant will be of no consequence. Morell jr vs benavidez would make more sense. Be safe

But the thing here, Ben has Lemiuex to take care of, THEN it would be Morell. During all that time Plant will be taking his long layoff as most of these guys do nowadays which is lame for the sport, and by that time Plant would return and take a 'tune up' fight like most of these guys also do.
He would use that as an excuse to not fight Plant. All the way around as I been saying, Plant doesn't want the Benavidez fight imho.

They will offer the fight to Benavides but he will fight another no hoper while calling out Canelo. Shame on him for losing his title twice outside the ring and then not making a case for himself for fights that actually matters. I don't even know if he can do 168 effectively and how he would like at the later rounds.

You definitely have a point on him losing the title twice.
Only Benavidez should be held accountable for losing it twice, no excuse on that.
I just think the Plant fight is perfect for both now that none of them have titles and they have a long rivalry going on. Regarding later rounds, he has shown that his stamina is great as rounds go on, I think he does just fine.

Never has. They could have fought long time ago, benavidez/plant. In any case, Morell jr vs benavidez could happen sooner than later.

Plant just need to be forgotten for a while. Benavidez needs to go for Smith, Smith or Bivol at LHW.
